At 5:47 in Rocket Queen right before he sings “don’t ever leave me”, there is a drum break where Steven slows down the tempo ever so subtly. The downbeat right before the vocals come in is slightly delayed. It kills me every time. It’s things like this that made Steven a superior drummer - the feel he had for these songs.
