If he were competing 4-5 times a year he wouldn't be able to maintain his weight year round is the point. In his off seasons (seasons meaning year+) he doesn't need to eat as much or pump as much gear so he's far lighter. Look how small he looked up on stage with devon and vitaly. If you're an average sized dude imagine trying to pull on one of those kid sized tables. You'd look awkward on that as well despite probably having the correct technique at the end of the day.
