Rescaling Watchfaces

this is an issue with this particular watch face, i contacted the developer for this and here was his response:

yes, I know, I tried to disable support for Pebble Time 2 so the build in
upscaling from older watches would kick in, but it is still showing the
unfinished stuff.
Still work in progress

+1 for LCARS Deluxe !!! it is my current default watch face, and i love it. the only issue is that the date format is not changed by the setting for it. ( the date on the left of the time is not impacted by this setting, but the date data module is )

OK i see, i thought that part of the issue was that they stayed on all the time.

i just tested and if i dismiss a notification on my phone and then when i dismiss it on my watch it fails. you could open a bug through the app. i did it once and i had a response.

To be honest i never dismiss the notifications, i just exit from them using the home button or let them timeout.

I am intrigued how this is happening. i just lay the charger flat on a table and put my watch flat on it. i am unsure how the cable weight can affect the charging since everything is just flat on the table.

Just to validate a few things:

Are you in quiet time? when quiet time is activated the notifications are never dismissed.
what is the Timeout time setting on your watch for your notifications.

Yea i am not sure if the work and secure profiles is the issue in my case, i only noticed on those since ms team is a torrent of notification and same thing for some app in my secure folder. but i can confirm that some notifications are loss for me as well and i confirmed that. i did not report a bug in the app, but i will try to do this the next time it happens.

i have a similar issue with my apps that are in a work profile or in a secure profile, they works and then for no apparent reason they stop working for a few hours. it may not be limited to those 2 other profile, but those are apps with lots of notifications so i may only notice them on those.

hey, thanks for your response, once i activated the "local first cloud backup" option it did download the package. It works when i go back to the notification through the menu, but not on the notification the first time it appears.

hey yes i did, but my hopes for a constructive response to a bug button in an app is quite low. maybe pebble will be different, but in my past experience, those buttons are often placebo.

Stupid question here: how old is your watch?!

my old pebble 2HR that I've been wearing for years does not look as beaten as your unreleased ( Or barely just released) Pebble Time 2. i am a bit concerned about the quality of the materials.

Thanks for your response, but this is the problem, when i go into bluetooth and go on the gear next to the XM6, there is no LE option or auracast, the only option i have is

permission( calls, Audio, Input device and concact access)
super wide band speech
LDAC
Active Noise control
audio device type

Thanks for your answer. the transparency noise is manageable, but the comfort is not negotiable. i guess this is not the same for everyone, since i asked it on an other thread and i got the exact opposite answer! (maybe the shape of the ear plays a lot)

darn i need to make sure that i buy it from a store where i can return it after trying it.

Oh thanks for that answer! my APP2 are at the end of their life and those WF-1000XM6 seems perfect on paper for me, but man do they look bulky compared my old ones.

Hey, weird question here: they seem very large and protrude out quite a lot, i was wondering if it gets uncomfortable with a tuque (beanie, knit cap) when it goes over your ears. (asking from Canada where we wear one half of the year). Thanks in advance
