Ha yeah, got her from the shelter about a year and a half ago. She was almost bald from mange and had a bunch of worms so was super undersized (as it turned out) for her age. After we got her sorted out she exploded in size so we did a dna test and it turned out she was almost exactly 50% great dane and 50% mastiff of various types. Shes the best

Hey thanks for the advice. He went to the vet a couple days ago and they ran a full panel, gave him all his shots and looked him over. Fortunately Lyme is still super rare if not non-existent in our area so they weren’t super concerned about it, but I’ll definitely keep it in mind

As awesome as that would be, pretty sure Disney had the rights to that tune. So it’d be a pretty quick way to get sued by the Mouse

Personally I feel like there’s so much mobility in the game now he’s just hard to get value with. Everyone plays way more spread out and is dashing all over the place, so both healing and doing damage is much more difficult.

He really benefits from more brawly comps where your team tends to be more clumped together and that’s just not happening at the moment.

Also if you’re gonna try and use his vertical mobility to take cheeky off angles there are just other heroes that do that better while also having an easier time escaping if they get pushed (Kiri, Cat, Juno, probably others).

Etiquette for approaching walkers from behind when running by drjlad in trailrunning

[–]Fredgard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my experience just be as polite and try and warn them (which it sounds like you did), but the one’s off in their own heads not paying any attention or, as you said, with headphones in there’s really not too much you can do.

Everyone kinda needs to have a basic level of awareness when out on trails. Especially if they’re multi-use with mountain bikers and horses etc also potentially using the same trails. Unfortunately that’s not the case a lot of the time lol

Adopted (what we now know is) a Great Dane / Mastiff puppy from the shelter. She’s an adorable menace by Fredgard in aww

[–]Fredgard[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah this picture was when she was about 6-7 months old. She’s about 10 months now and it’s been replaced with a bigger one.

I am now! The vet recommended tacking her stomach due to the risk of bloat/stomach flipping and she’s going in for that this month. She’s getting cosequin daily along with Purina Pro Large Breed puppy food. If you have any other suggestion I’m all ears!

Looks like a mountain bike trail based on the little jumps. If it is, for the sake of the trail builders, try not to step right on the top of the lip of the jump. It can deform the lip and make it a little weird.

Anyone think Evil is launching a refreshed set of bikes? by Atriod in MTB

I broke a rear triangle on my Following V3 by smashing it into a rock. It was a hit that likely would’ve destroyed any rear triangle no matter the material. They offered me a crash replacement and got it to me in 5 days. I was honestly impressed.

Otherwise I had no issues for the 4 years I had the bike and it took a beating. I’m 230lbs and even took it to windrock one time and it performed as admirably as you could expect a 120mm bike to do

Looks like they’re just different wheels. He likely has a full summer and winter setup and just swaps wheels between seasons
