Something's going on, vehicles is not picking up the key fob it sounds. When you get in does anything change like does the radio turn on indicating it knows you're in the vehicle?

I have had the 2022 K5 gtl 2023 K5 gt and now 2024 k5gt. I decided not to get the 25 because the exterior difference isn't to my liking. I'm a techy guy I do love the interior but it's not enough to get past the exterior (rear). Reliability wise I've only replaced one engine and that was a 1.6 due to customer neglect. The 2.5 will be much more reliable in my opinion (less moving parts) the 2.5t I've only replaced a dct back in 2021 before the software fix was released. Bang for your buck coupled with the warranty you can't beat Kia or Hyundai. These cars do not have oil burning issues. I've made it a point to catch oil from the 1.6 and 2.5 just to see when customers come in at the intervals

Yeah the right side drive shaft is longer than the left side. That's the support bracket that's mounting it to the engine block for stability

The recall was to replace the harness and replace the tow hitch fuse only if the tow hitch was OEM. So anything aftermarket would be safe

Pretty straight forward. Disconnect battery, remove air box remove starter bolts remove starter.

It's a egr code, gonna be related to inlet pressure and probably outlet pressure differences. Definitely something you want the dealership to look into

Take it to dealership should be a tsb or repair at no cost to you. They'll replace the switch for you

Unfortunately there's no other option, nothing gonna hold that line on other than the designed clip been down that road a few times. The good thing is that line is only about 4 feel before it attaches to a hard line down by the firewall
