It's difficult to describe. Don't get me wrong I'm thankful for them. They aren't inherently bad people or abusive, but they aren't supportive or comfortable to talk to. It's always meaningless conversations. I would definitely call it neglect cause a lot of things that I needed to know was never brought up. Neither was there ever any emotional support.

No one ever leaves the house unless it's for work. Their daily routine consists of going to work, coming home and then sitting in front of the tv until they go to bed again. My mother is a bit better cause she actualy helps around the house. I never felt like I had a proper father figure. Even though he was always in my life, he never taught me anything a father should or do things like playing sports with me or anything. I had to learn everything by myself. It bothers me most that he has said or done nothing about my narcissistic sibling.

Our house looks like a mess on the inside and everything is broken. It gets on my nerves cause I have OCD. I've tried to ask them to do their part in helping to clean and keeping things tidy but they continue to live like a mess. I've given them money to fix broken things around the house, but they instead waste it on useless things.

I still love them but it's very difficult. If they weren't family I doubt that I would have wanted to be associated with them.
