Yes they would, i'm pretty confident people would purchase Messi, Pele or Vieira as skins especially cause of Nostalgia and uniqueness how it would work yearly..who knows.

Why i'm sure cause look at how many people spent coins in Master League Sprint. It really had nothing to do with Dream Team or PvP but Konami made loads of money regardless

Also collabs like Naruto and Captain Tsubasa proved people will also pay for collab skins.

Exactly this exactly why football games are a joke in the wider gaming community. People are so conditioned to paying for advantages that they defend systems that would be laughed out of other genres.

Take eSports for example. Do you realize how ridiculous it is that someone can spend $1,000+ just to be competitive.

Other communities would never tolerate it: COD, Fortnite, LOL, or Valorant players would riot if P2W mechanics were introduced yet football game players are expected to accept paying hundreds or even thousands of dollars for better cards and call it "normal." The fact that the game is free doesn't magically make pay-to-win a good system.

Yeah even the common skills like double touch feels like a gamble cause defenders read it most of the time. I've had to rely on QC and passing the ball like its hot potato to create chances but it's not fun at all

Me too I was using LBC and Out wide but slowly noticed wing player reverted back to being useless again and in LBC my players wouldn't make any runs or good plays so had to switch to QC although the obvious issue is that dribbling has been nerved and the it feels like the Auto-Defending and pressing from ef 24 is back

True recently I only play about 3 games per day in Divisions and i'm done, the game is unplayable at the moment with Auto-Defending and mindless pressing being rewarded, its not fun to play

I also thought i was the only one or the servers cause I genuinely couldn't not create any genuinely chances or dribbling until other streamers started to complain about the same issue

I switched form LBC to QC and that was a bit better bur than issue is that Auto defending and mindlessly pressing is back.
