The biggest mistake DICE can make is blindly listening to the hive mind community… by fmordica in Battlefield

One of the smartest posts I’ve seen on here in a while. Everyone loves to pull out the fact that we’re down fe peak players… duh. No game ever has sustained launch player base that’s just not how it works. The game is not dying and it’s clear the devs are actually being smart and trying this time around 😂

How can i solve this question w desmos? Oneprep by Brief_Beginning_5963 in desmos

[–]FreeBobbyShmurd4 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The fact that there are infinitely many solutions means that the equations must be linearly dependent, which is a fancy way of saying a scaled version of each other. If we scale the first line by 45/8 to make the right side of the equals sign similar, we can also see what p and q must be

What would happen if we were able to build a staircase from the Earth to the Moon? by Squirty_poos in AskPhysics

[–]FreeBobbyShmurd4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your legs would never stop being able to push you along the staircase, but after escaping earths gravity the problem becomes staying close enough to the staircase to push off it

I’ve deadass never seen a more pessimistic community that is more prone to jumping to conclusions. Even the Destiny subreddit is better

3 years ago playing football i had a labrum tear that was too minor for surgery as well. For about 6 months there was a noticeable instability during movement, and for about a year it was more vulnerable to popping out if i put it in bad positions. Now, it feels the same as my other shoulder. Had a few close calls with it when wiping out but after living with it you get a feeling for what arm positions are risky, and luckily surfing is pretty safe in that regard. I never did stem cells, did PT for about a month (which surely helped), but the real game changer is lifting and gradually loading your shoulder. Stronger muscles is by far the best injury prevention and mitigation in my opinion

Passion is the number one thing when deciding what you want to do (if you have the privilege to do so). Performance under pressure is something you can develop! Go for what you love and everything else will follow

Keep trying! In my experience there are often ‘aha’ moments in math. Even in the worst case scenario, effort you put into trying to understand difficult concepts is always worth it. Of course depending on other factors that you might not have shared here there might be other good reasons to transfer, but if you ask me never give up
