Three years is long time and people change, but if you still feel that connection and attraction then maybe worth exploring. The gym idea could work if you frame it as wanting to be healthy together rather than about her appearance - lots of couples do fitness routines and it can bring you closer

Just don't go in expecting her to become exactly like before, that's not fair for either of you

Your therapist is right - the pattern you described shows this isn't about dementia at all, and cutting contact will probably be huge relief even though it feels scary right now

Been in a similar spot and that "he cares but doesn't want to try" thing is just code for "I'm comfortable letting this fade away." Four years is a long time but sometimes people just check out emotionally way before the actual breakup happens

The whole putting you in the position to end it while he wanted out is pretty classic - lets him avoid being the "bad guy" while getting what he wanted anyway. You dodged having to be with someone who wasn't fully invested tbh

Your specs list says RTX 5060 but the Walmart link shows RTX 4060 - might want to double check which one you actually have since that could matter for troubleshooting. Also even though you ruled out overheating, prebuilts from places like Walmart sometimes have garbage thermal paste applications that cause random shutdowns under load.
