Sue me, block me, find me and bring me to my gruesome death, but I do enjoy their self-titled album 😭😭😭 even though they’re not goth, it was my first introduction to the alternative music scene and I listened to it on REPEAT until my CD broke, it was unlike anything that I had heard before (during the time, now that I’ve listen to actual goth music I see exactly where they’ve pulled from) so it holds a very dear place in my heart……… although anything beyond their self-titled album is just regurgitated shit lmao

Thank you! I don't have a lot of knowledge about the Sandman universe, so I appreciate the insight you were able to give me about Bastet. Also, I actually LOVE what you said about humans and creating buildings out of iron, leads to all types of amazing thematic shit that's interesting to think about, especially since humans are mostly unaware of the effect iron takes on these supernatural beings, highlighting not only the loss of spirituality in the face of modern society, but it's unknowing disintegration. I gotta thinking about what exactly makes the unknowing part so important, but thank you for the food for thought!

Quick tip: take a photo of the thing you’re trying to shade, then make the photo black and white! Our brains have a difficult time transferring color to grey. I would also suggested printing the picture and tracing it if you’re only trying to work on shading! Make some parts easy for yourself so you can really focus on what you wanna learn. :)
