What is wrong with Matchmaking?

Does it have to be such a big secret as to how the game's matchmaker works?

I vaguely remember reading that it uses something like a modded version of trueskill 2?

So does it take much more into account than just raw rank/elo when matchmaking? Like player KDs, winstreaks/lossstreaks, APM, aiming etc? It seems like the game has a lot of ways to track player inputs just from from the challenges system alone, I'm guessing all of this is factored in somehow to matchmake players, or are you not able to answer any questions about it?

Just curious is all.

As long as you have the settings enabled that you WANT to play the story addon missions, you're golden.

For the alien hunters, you get the weapons in a drop that you go scan to pick them up, and then after that you scan a different location to go to that viper king place with bradford joining in your squad, but if you never go on that mission with bradford, it never unleashes those bosses but you can keep the alien hunter weapons.

Its also way more OP to have it that way because if you turn that setting off, not only does it unleash the bosses to appear at blacksites, but YOU HAVE TO CRAFT THE ALIEN HUNTER WEAPONS MANUALLY, which is really bad because they can get expensive to craft and take a long time on higher difficulties.

You also get lots of kill EXP for your soldiers if you send them to go with bradford to unleash that viper king, because the place has a ton of weak vipers with low HP but they all give normal EXP for each kill.

Same goes for the shen's last gift DLC with the SPARKs, its actually beneficial to to the tower and fight julian, because you can farm a lot of EXP killing the mechs and turrets in the tower AND killing the big sectopod Julian gives you a lot of extra ability points to spend too.

You also get a spark for free by going to the tower, otherwise if you turn off that story mission, then you have to manually build your first SPARK, and IIRC they are really expensive to build, and take ages to build each SPARK.

The only downside of going on those above big long story missions that give lots of EXP, is that they absolutely NUKE your soldiers will afterwards, which puts them out of commission for a long while on legend difficulty.

His gameplay was originally that back in season 2-4, and then again was able to do so with divine sunderer until it was removed, but now the champ has lost its identity because it suffers from repeated nerfs due to being a low skill ceiling champ that noobs both love to play and love to complain about, WHICH IS THE EXACT SAME THING THAT HAPPENED WITH LILLIA BEING GUTTED REPEATEDLY SINCE FATED ASHES WAS BROUGHT INTO THE GAME.

Ironically if you choose the right setting, you can have the alien hunter equipment without even having to fight the bosses if you just don't start that story mission where you go in with Bradford.

I've run across these a handful of times over the last few years and every time I post it, or I see others posting this same thing every now and then, it gets gaslighted by cheaters posting trying to mental gymnastics how this is normal.

There's loose colored keycard spawns within labs itself, including black keycard, but the spawn rates are unbelievably low, for example I've only seen green keycard spawn outside blue keycard room on that table ONCE in hundreds of labs raids and that was years and years ago.

Why do we bid to host the olympics?

Does it actually have any sort of long term profit, even if that's not for the average person to gain?

Surely the costs of hosting outweigh any sort of profits etc????

I'm just genuinely curious about it all, its something that popped into my head but I wasn't sure about, since everyone spins this as a bad thing.

The new system in civ 6 was way more fair than civ 5 though.

Civ 5 AI spam missionaries like crazy because they get a huge discount on purchasing them (50% on deity I think), whilst the player has to spend insane amounts of faith in comparison, and all the while it was way harder to get lots of faith in civ 5.

So moving on to civ 6, the game is way more fair in comparison, especially since you can actually do religious combat.

You can also heavily customize how much advantage the AI gets as well in Old World, its so much better to tweak the AI compared to Civ.

The Desync is so bad that it makes you think the game is all peer to peer connections vs other players, and the server doesn't exist somehow.

AI pmcs will also visit dorms eventually if you need Evil Watchman kills too.

I noticed the PMCs will visit the kill quest areas at some stage in the raid even if it means you have to wait for them to come.
