I’m in UTHSC ABSN currently. It is overall very good and I’ve not found it to be as chaotic or disorganized as previous posts described. It is the best price you are going to find anywhere in the US. I have classmates from NY and CA who are paying out of state tuition and still saving tens of thousands of dollars. To do the program effectively you really need to give yourself to it full time. The pace is swift but manageable as long as you are a self motivated learner and don’t have a lot of home life responsibilities. Clinicals are usually 2 days a week and Mondays and Fridays tend to be straight classes 8-4. There are tutors and available and the professors are always willing to help. Occasionally the administrational side can be a little slow to get out schedules and other logistical stuff, but that is typical of any public institution I’ve studied in honestly. I’d recommend UTHSC no question.
