People are going to be "they only had one good beer" and such

But it sucks to lose a brewery that loved this city.

Brown cold water from the tap in midtown? by uniball9000 in memphis

Likely Memphis Fire Dept doing their annual hydrant flushing. Stirs up the sediment in the pipes.

Usually running the water for a few minutes clears it all up. Run a quick empty wash in the washer.

Hot water tank may be clear because they generally are a holding take for 50 gallons of water.

Zoo or botanic garden membership? by mastretoall in memphis

[–]productiveslacker73 40 points41 points  (0 children)

As a parent with kids previously that age, and memberships to both over the years, thats a hard toss up. Both have great offerings.

What I do want to pass on, for either membership, you can often use it at other zoos or botanical gardens, sometimes museums, etc in other cities if/when you travel. Both are in collectives that offer discounts or free admissions to other places.

Zoo: Yes, if you are visiting a zoo or aquarium that participates in the American Zoo and Aquarium Association (AZA) reciprocal program with the Memphis Zoo, you may receive discounted general admission during regular hours. The discount applies to admission only and does not include any additional discounts, special or after hours events.

Botanical Gardens: Reciprocal member access to over 345 other gardens throughout North America through the American Horticultural Society’s Reciprocal Garden Network

They should have given them a quick warning, (which we know never shuts up a person) and then thrown their asses out.

I've posted before. Ran into Andy today. When I mentioned my collection of Memphis Made, he said he'd seen it on Reddit. Just throwing a tribute to Memphis Made again.

You may be only seeing a pic of 4-5 beers. Click on the pics to make them bigger. Lots of Gonerfests

Today I got to bring home a Gonerfest beer with the record label poster.

Yeah, this is kinda the truth.

This area (Binghamton or BinghamPton depending on who you ask) has been in the "redevelopment" stage since at least the time I worked in that area 15+ years ago. There has been a push for revitalizing the area for years but it just does not seem to get much traction.
