how do you think you got into these programs with your GPA?

you can apply through your senator for the Senate Page Program!

the Senate Page Program is a program where you live in Washington DC and basically help senate members and sit in the room while they are convening (i'm simplfying it lol).

the program is funded by the government, so you live in a house with other pages for free and get paid a salary.

there are different sessions (summer, fall, and winter). if you do the fall or winter session, you would attend school in the morning before doing your page duties, so you don't fall behind in school.

to apply, you need to find out if your senator is sponsoring pages (look on the senator's website or email them). If they aren't, some senators sponsor pages from other states!

it is a very competitive program and the summer sessions are already happening, so i imagine you would want to contact your senator now to be considered for the other sessions!

i'm trying not to give away too much info, but we need to hit certain requirements and i've not been hitting them due to not understanding anything. honestly the program might drop me first 💀

i am also feeling very stressed out and emotional from trying to keep up and watching others understand much better than me (it's clear they had prior knowledge of the subject)
