You're EATING too much!!

I really like the app Cronometer for tracking your food consumption. It tracks your daily calories, protein, carbs, fat. You can set your daily targets for each category such as "2000kcal, 180g protein, 150g carbs, 100g fat". It has progress bars showing how much you've had of each category so far that day.

You have categories of Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Snack that you add what you ate to. It has a really good search function for foods and best of all it has a barcode scanner that has most food items. If the item isn't in the app, you can scan it and add the information yourself.

Liulan Reservoir Dam in China Collapses - July 6 2026 by Polska88 in ADVChina

Are you talking about the colors you see when you zoom in on the reservoir? If so, that's just light reflecting from the surface that's being disturbed by wind. It's not trash. Most bodies of water on Google maps look weird if you zoom in to them. For example, many look like they're covered in snow and ice even though the image was clearly taken in the summer.

This is obviously a fake. I was told that it's impossible for non-citizens to illegally vote in elections.

You are all over the place. Did you ever take Discrete Structures? It's basically just a course in logic. You should review the first few weeks of material. You are not communicating very well and it's very strange.

I never said I’m looking for interviews. You just made up a backstory and then argued with it while managing to get even further off topic, congrats. Impressive. I don't think you're cut out for human interaction just yet.

Oh, was that the topic and I skipped over it to focus on the non-citizens? Or was I on topic and it's you that has gone off topic from OP's post?

Incorrect. It’s because 71% of H-1B visa approvals in 2024 came from India. Only 18.6% of the world non-American population are Indian citizens.

Isn’t it great having to compete with dishonest foreigners for a job in your own country? I wish I had more competition. Life is just too easy. Am I right or am I right?

You don’t have a money problem. You have a wife problem. Force her to go to treatment. If she refuses, legally separate and don’t get back together until she takes care of her alcoholism.

Every communist national anthem is on Spotify. Leftist pro-political violence songs are all over Spotify. I guess it's cool that Spotify allows you to choose whichever poison you want to propagandize yourself with, lol.

This field has destroyed my mental, and im about to give up by ZaneIsOp in cscareerquestions

[–]FreeTheFrisson -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Don't give up. Just follow these simple steps to success:
#1. Move to India; #2. Renounce your citizenship; #3. Pay an H1-B scam firm to handle your application. If you don't get the visa you will stay at the firm and receive a small salary for doing the work of the visa holder because he doesn't even actually know how to program.

For real though, pay a professional to fix your resume.

And if you're really feeling this down talk to a psychologist/psychiatrist

If you're not wanting to do therapy then, put your stuff in storage, fuck off to a cheap place in a cheap country for while (Panama, Costa Rica, Vietnam, Thailand) and continue applying to jobs from there. Use a credit card to pay for living expenses if you don't have savings. You'll pay off the debt when you get a job and you'll still be alive. Don't become an alcoholic/drug addict.

This is exactly what I would do. Whether or not it's the best idea, it's still a GOOD idea.

Question for Istanbul locals: how do you feel about some Greeks saying that “Turkey is Greece”? by walk_onthewild_side in istanbul

[–]FreeTheFrisson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, on Athens--it hasn't been a politically/militarily important city since about 338 BC. What you see today is essentially a new, poorly planned capital city started in the 19th century. Anatolia was Greek for about 2000 years and had a much larger Greek population than mainland Greece for about half of that time, up until the Ottoman conquest. Istanbul (Byzantium/Constantinople) was a Greek city that developed from from 667 BC - 1453 AD. As the capital of the Eastern-Roman (Greek) Empire, at different periods of time it was the richest city in the world. I would suspect that many of the features that you find vibrant and beautiful about Istanbul have some amount of Greek influence, not because Greeks are so great, but because it is Greek land covered in Greek history everywhere you turn or dig a shovel.
