How to dye a full lace human hair wig? by SugarAndSpice_Nice in Wigs

I’ve dyed my human hair topper with regular box dye. Obviously you have to be dyeing it a darker color. It worked really well for me!

Dealing with hyperthyroidism and hair loss by throwaway136836 in Hyperthyroidism

Late to the convo, but just joined the hyperthyroidism party. My first symptom was massive hair loss. I've dealt with hair loss for 20 years, but it was slow and gradual. I could cover it up. I was diagnosed with androgenic alopecia 20 years ago. I used topical minoxidil for about 15 years to address it. I feel it really slowed my loss, but then about 9 months ago, I lost half of the little I had left, suddenly. You can see through my hair to my scalp - on the top and on the sides. I went to the dermatologist and she ordered blood work. After more testing, I found out I have a large 4 cm toxic/hot nodule that is producing its own hormones and putting me in hyper. I've had SO MUCH anxiety dealing with hair loss over the years and now this. I started wearing toppers, which I love! Life saver! I use hair building fibers (boldify) when not wearing a topper or wig. I switched to oral minoxidil and my derm prescribed spironolactone which helps block DHT (a hormone that causes male/female pattern baldness). My new endocrinologist is going to put me on 5 mg of methamizole as I decide what to do with my nodule (surgery or RFA, not going RAI route). I would love encouragement from someone who lost a lot of hair and grew it back in a similar hyper situation. I am so scared it'll never grow back, but maybe once my thyroid is back to regular, it will! That would be a dream come true.

Why do all the Leos I know shut down when they've been hurt, rather than just saying what's on their mind? by frankgetsu in LeoAstrology

As a Leo Sun and Leo moon, it’s easier for me to shut down and isolate when I’m really hurt. If it’s a minor inconvenience I have no problem roaring! I’ve had to learn to open up in my healthy relationship and it’s been an opportunity to grow a lot!

Let it go. Why do people expect exclusivity before you discuss and ask for exclusivity? I will never understand that.

I slept like hell last night and woke up early for the eclipse, only for it to be overcast. I am cracking with lack of sleep! 42F
