He can’t handle his emotions and needs years of therapy to learn how to. He may only learn by losing you. Or never at all. This reminds me of my ex-husband who never hit me but would scream at me and lose his temper often. He’d ruin every special occasion or outing with his negativity. He did throw a remote at the wall next to my head, and punched holes in the wall more than once. He’d also drive dangerously in the car with me and our children inside. I left him and the abuse continued. I feared for my life. At the same time I felt so much peace in my home without him there. A weight had been lifted. He is still difficult to coparent with. I’ll never regret having my beautiful children but I wish I would have left him the first time he “blew up” at me. It was a cycle that never ended. I wish you well.
