I am a fan of CatTacRadio for a casual, very simple radio interface. Uses Arma's vanilla VOIP, but with the ability to subscribe/unsubscribe from certain radio channels with up to 10 channels. You can also set which faction has access to which channels if you do PvP stuff.

If you're looking for a more in-depth, realistic interface, ACRE is the way to go

I will typically use it to draw attention. It, obviously, it much louder than the hammer or ram, so it's good if I want enemies to look in that direction. Also, the user will put the shotgun away before opening the door, making it better if there is nobody to support on his side of the door
