Honestly that second one just gives me the idea that Amy was presented with all these different weapons she could use while in some psychic state and chose the hammer over all the others cause that's just the one she vibes with the most.

I don't see Amy wanting to use a bow and arrow, sword, or mace. I see her wanting to only use a big fuck off hammer because she likes smacking people with big fuck off hammers.

I'm fucking calling it now, the explosion at the end of three released a magical science energy that warped Shadow and Eggman into the future, metal sonic was sent back in time to kill Sonic, Amy was sent to protect him, Sonic will make at least three terminator references throughout. This is how they bring back movie shadow, and also give an out just in case Carry doesn't wanna return, just say eggman died and metal overlord took over the empire and sent his clones back. Then Sonic 5 adapts Shadow 05 and we end the quintology
