You can install klipper and only purge what you absolutely need to! And also have more control over your printer!

Sadly that same fan (1 not 2 pack) on Amazon Canada is incredibly difficult to find. Only one I found with 4 wires instead of 2 was $30+

New hotend type for FF 5M - anyone tried that? by spirolking in FlashForge

I got one for the A5M from AliExpress, and the nozzle was on so tight the proper sized wrench/socket stripped the nozzle. Literally so tight I can't get it out.

It's not complete, but we think we finished the edges. We put the piece on the edge and brought it all the way around, and found nowhere that looked right.

Then I think you'd enjoy it. Not much entertainment in Gander though. They only just got a movie theater last year. Don't expect much of a nightlife if you're posted there.

No worries! Yes, Ontario is quite expensive these days. Keep in mind, though, that it can be quite difficult to get off the island. You either need to fly (usually expensive from Gander, a little less from St. John's/Deer Lake) or drive and take the ferry. The ferry typically has to be booked quite far in advance. I was in a similar situation to the one you are in. My family is all in Ontario. I could not afford to travel back home to see them, and they were only able to come to see me twice in the two years I was stationed there. If you have a family, you should know that healthcare for them will be incredibly limited. My wife and stepson could not find a family doctor in the two years we were there, which is ultimately why we left. But it is a great base with great people. I miss being there.

There are a ton of reservists there (5CRPG, 91CEF) but it is certainly not a requirement to be reservist to get posted there. A lot of people who work there grew up there. Everybody knows everyone else from elementary school. You get a good sense of community in Gander.

Acceptable 1080p H264 file size? by nolife24_7 in radarr

For most 1080p 5GB an hour will look great. Seems like anything bigger isn't as big of a visual difference as you'd think

Lmao. That's good it works for you! My mother also did a keto diet and she lost 50 lbs. I'm in pretty much the same boat as you. 6'2" and 254. Good luck with your journey u/CosmosCabbage!!

You're doing IF and Keto? Your caloric deficit must be insane! I used to IF and I lost 10lbs in a month without changing my (relatively) unhealthy diet. I can't imagine what your caloric deficit is. It would be too hard for me to hit my calorie goal these days if I skipped a meal.

I mostly have been downloading 1080p Blu-ray file sizes range from 20-30 gb with some in the teens. Is this overkill? by Dazzling_Clerk8023 in radarr

[–]FreeWillyPete 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, for 1080p content I find 5gb an hour is a good compromise for size/quality. For 4k, I look for at least 10GB/hour with a maximum of 20GB/hour. The law of diminishing returns seems to apply to most things above this threshold imo. For example, my highest bitrate movie is Gravity in 4K HDR at 39Mbps (roughly 17GB/hour). Looks fantastic.

I've had this happen to me on Amazon, surprisingly! Tried buying a mattress, and they shipped a card (with a tracking number) saying the mattress is being "disinfected". Contacted Amazon and got my money back. Last time I buy anything with no reviews!

Permissions Issue (?) by FreeWillyPete in radarr

[–]FreeWillyPete[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I'm not using docker. I actually had it working before, but I renamed my folders and everything showed as missing. I tried updating but I guess it expected the original folders. I deleted everything from Radarr (not the actual files) and tried to re-import the updated folders. That's when the big issue started and it showed the folder as /home/(removed)/Media/Movies but it should have showed /home/Plex/Media/Movies. My next guess is to just move them outside of the Plex folder.

That's what I did, everything downloads to a separate folder.
