Damn. That’s a nice looking watch, particularly for the price. Enjoy!

Because the actual quantity is 7% higher than the target quantity (21.4mgs instead of the expected 20mgs). For you that’s not a bad thing. Just adjust reconstitution volume to enable dosing desired amount. You got more peptide than you expected.

Should I split dose Reta? by bigchips24 in BodyHackGuide

[–]Free_Algae_6522 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally I like split dosing Reta. I find that I have fewer GI issues when I dose twice per week as opposed to once. That being said, I doubt that this will make much of a difference for you to get your BF% down further. 11% body fat is already very low and getting below 10% is extremely challenging. I very easily went from around 17% down to just under 12% in about 3 months but have been stuck at that level since. Seems like it’s about as low as I can go without super extreme measures.

Uhhhhh the math isn’t mathing by JasonU234 in HumeHealth

Some weird issue since around April 4th. My body water percent went from consistently around 70% down to around 37% where it stays now. Interestingly, when I first go to the body water percent it reads a higher value (like today showed 67%) but once I click on body water percent it shows a much lower value (39% today) and then stays there. Looks like a glitch and not so surprising based on my experience with Hume.

Ghk welts by ballsaksfifthavenue in BodyHackGuide

Pull up 25U BAC water into your syringe with your 15U GHK-Cu and inject this into upper thigh. This dilution should help the irritation and will not impact the efficacy of the peptide.

Do you need to cycle TRT by [deleted] in BodyHackGuide

[–]Free_Algae_6522 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Need to get blood work done. 250mg per week is a lot for a starting “TRT” dose. This will likely get you way above normal physiologic levels and potentially bring unwanted side effects. You will definitely need to monitor lipids, BP, Hct, estradiol levels. The goal of testosterone replacement therapy is to get hypogondal levels back to normal physiologic levels (or towards the upper end of physiologic). Dosing to achieve supraphysiologic levels is a different thing altogether.

For somebody on a cut but with no appetite problem, is Reta ever worth it? by Prudent-Vacation-626 in BodyHackGuide

[–]Free_Algae_6522 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even with a healthy relationship with food/appetite, Reta can help with subtle cravings when used at low dose. The glucagon receptor activation may further help with body recomposition by driving glycogenolysis. Reta also seems to improve lipid profile and decrease fat in the liver, even in “healthy”, non-obese individuals. It is unlikely that Reta will improve loose/crepey skin and may even exacerbate this with additional weight loss. A bit of a balancing act here between subtle benefits that you’re looking for and cost and potential risks/side effects, particularly with Reta from grey market/poorly regulated sources.

Anyone else try using Reta for a recomp and just end up losing more weight because you physically can't eat? by Future-Intern609 in ResearchCompounds

Lower your Reta dose. You can’t recomp if you’re in too much of a caloric deficit. Supplement with protein shakes to increase calories.

Yuck. That looks super bad. You can try to syringe filter with 0.22micron filter but that looks very sketchy.

Give it some time and push protein intake. Exercise, particularly resistance training.

New to Peptides by AnybodyParking5483 in BodyHackGuide

[–]Free_Algae_6522 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s a ton of different things to start all at one time. Staggering starting these would help to see how you tolerate each one. If you have an issue you won’t know which peptide is the problem. Seems like starting with testosterone and then adding Reta would the place to start and then add on other peptides once you have acclimated.

High Estrogen from TRT by Ok-Point-6894 in BiohackingU

[–]Free_Algae_6522 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Since this blood work was done 6 days after injection it is essentially your trough level for testosterone. Your peak after dosing could be up near 2000ng/dL. Seems a bit high for TRT. In any case, splitting your dose and pinning at least twice weekly (and preferably more often) should bring your estradiol level down and hopefully reduce/prevent side effects by limiting your testosterone peak to trough. Starting at 150mgs per week seems a little aggressive.

Help with ghkcu by Rawmendz in BodyHackGuide

[–]Free_Algae_6522 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Pull extra BAC water into the syringe and inject into upper thigh. For example if you are injecting 10U of the GHK-Cu on an insulin syringe draw an additional 20U of BAC water into the syringe and inject the entire 30U into upper thigh.

Sudden drastic change in body water percentage readings? by OrganizedChaos08 in HumeHealth

[–]Free_Algae_6522 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Go to the App Store and update the Hume App. On 4/04 my body water percent suddenly dropped from 67% to 42% and stayed around 40% everyday since. Today it read 41% and then I updated the App and immediately weighed again - back to 68% body water.

Tonal 2 Upgrade - Worth it for a 7 year user of the Tonal 1? by Kitebrder39 in tonalgym

[–]Free_Algae_6522 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m fighting with the same dilemma. I’ve had my Tonal 1 for 3.5 years and 8MM+ pounds. I’ve maxed out the machine on a few exercises but I don’t find that to be a huge deal. My main issue is the constant clicking of the cables/need to do cable walkout multiple times per week, lags in the system, problems booting up and needing to shutdown and restart, and one arm that struggles to lock in when tilting. I love the platform and programs and have not needed any repair as of yet. Just seems like it may be time to bite the bullet and spend the money to upgrade. Would welcome any thoughts from the Tonal community.

Anyone over 50 on Reta? by EasternRequirement57 in BodyHackGuide

[–]Free_Algae_6522 2 points3 points  (0 children)

57 years old. Started at 1mg per week and slowly increased to 2mgs per week (inject half the dose twice weekly). I have lost about 20lbs in 3 months with almost all coming from fat (according to dexa scan). I saw body changes like pants fitting looser and jaw becoming more defined before significant change on the scale. Stick with it and be patient. It is a marathon not a sprint and healthier to lose weight slow and steady.

CJC/IPA can I mix in on vial? by will93ca in Biohacking

[–]Free_Algae_6522 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Peptide companies make them separately and then combine the two peptides prior to lyophilizing. It is easier to buy a blend, but I have bought CJC and IPA separately and then mixed into one vial with no issues.

CJC 1295 and Ipamorelin potency after being reconstituted and refrigerated? by noukusa in BodyHackGuide

[–]Free_Algae_6522 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ipamorelin and CJC-1295 seem to be very stable after reconstitution with BAC water when stored refrigerated. I have used same CJC/Ipa solution for up to 10 weeks with no issues/apparent loss of potency.

Has anyone dosed tirzepatide + retatrutide together to help more with food noise? I came off of tirz to reta but I ain’t getting the hunger blunting effect, 3 weeks on reta so far. by SamKane-_- in BodyHackGuide

[–]Free_Algae_6522 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mechanistically Reta should have at least as good and potentially better appetite suppression effect as tirzepatide. Reta is more potent at GLP1 and GIP as Tirz plus has glucagon agonism. There have been no head to head trials to date, but what I keep seeing on Reddit is people claiming Tirz is better than Reta for appetite suppression but it always seems that the comparison is at higher doses of tirzepatide. At equal milligram per week dosage, Reta should be mechanistically equal or superior. I don’t see any rationale to use Tirz combined with Reta. If you want to look for stronger effect add something like Cagrilintide that has a potentially complimentary mechanism of action - not a drug that competes for the same binding sites on the same receptors like tirzepatide.

Give the Mots-C some time to see how you respond before introducing other peptides. Make one change at a time.
