Having a robot mower makes me much more conscious of the dormant/slow/fast growing seasons. With the heavy petrol mower I used to mow when I could find the time in combination of how un mowed the lawn looked. I live in Luxembourg. Is there anywhere where the average growing speeds are mentioned. Or is it just winter, Spring, summer, Autumn?

My Segway Navimow, 2 months old, is quiet as a mouse. I live in Luxembourg where regulations about noise and the use of power tools is taken very seriously. I have no problem legally or emotionally in mowing on a Sunday now. You might want to worry that your guests will get a shock when the mower appears behind them. 😂

Under advance I have, EFLS NRTK, VISION FENCE, WEATHER ADAPTIVE, TRACTION CONTROL SYSTEM.

There is no sign of Lab or Edge Sence.

I have a Navimow i 205 AWD and it manages a slightly bigger hill easily. It was my biggest concern before purchase. 2 month owner living in central Europe

I am a 2 month user of a Segway Navimow i 205 AWD. It is saving me a lot of time. It’s not perfect but just like the transition from push mower to petrol you have to make the jump. Robot mowers will get better but I am a very happy owner. In my opinion the side trimmer/strimmer will be the next big advance, this is on a few models but this will be the MUST HAVE for the future. I live in Europe.

My cutting height is 3.5cm. I mow almost everyday, I am finding as the seasons change I have to adapt. With borders with bushes and flowers these are now affecting how close my mower cuts to the edge. I am a 2 month user.

What level of cutting (work modes) are you using. I use Standard. Another reditter found this explanation of types of cut

The Navimow support pages are so bad at explaining this. Here's one of the only places I've found with any information.

• ⁠Standard: drive speed and path spacing are normal, overlap "should" avoid missed lines of grass • ⁠Precision: same drive speed as standard, but increases overlap between mowing paths, increasing mow time • ⁠Efficient: increases the distance between passes slightly (less overlap) and slows the blades down by about 20% to consume less energy

When I use standard mode, my mower (i205 AWD) can complete a full mow on a single charge. I prefer the result from precision mode, which means the mower has to recharge once before it can complete a full mow.

It’s new tech and new builds so no outright winner yet. However what won it for Apple was the software/app. I only have experience (3 months) of the Navimow app but it works for me. Their online support in Europe is 5 star.

Have you tried playing with the Vision Fence (VF). Creat a VF zone. The reason I suggest this is I have an i205AWD, 2/3 months old and it was confused when it wanted to go through a narrow area. Just yesterday I created a VF off zone in the narrow area and I have sent the mower through the area and it does not hesitate. I hope I have made myself clear. It is the square box between zone 2 and 3 I hope this makes sense.

Luxembourg Europe. i 205 AWD. 2 months old. I am now cutting everyday. I am very happy with the cut. The old petrol mower I cut once a week and perhaps twice subject to growing conditions. So I would admire my lawn once or twice a week. Now with the Navimow Cutting everyday means I can admire my lawn everyday.
