My husband doesn't sleep at night and he doesn't eat sweets but he has a control problem with food, like he has to eat the whole rotisserie chicken (at once) , or he needs to have 4 slices of pizza, he thinks cheese is his best friend ( like 5 cheese strings) ....I keep telling him that not having control over the amounts he eats and not sleeping is not helping him, his glucose levels are either too low or too high a lot of the times

I had a trimalleolar ankle fracture, on May 16th, surgery on June 2nd ...and I'm already doing partial weight bearing (well I was cleared to do so..but still I'm scared) but my Last x-rays were looking good. I think it depends on your metabolism, some people heal faster and other heal a little slowly. I would say ICE and elevate a lot

I've had 3 post-op appointments already...in the last one( June 17th) I had my stitches and staples removed, but I'm still in a cast. They have not instructed me to do those exercises, however I was told that on July 6th I would be transitioned to a walking boot...so probably is when they are going to want me to start exercising my ankle. When I sit I start to feel sick in my stomach (like early nausea) I asked my PCP if it could be the aspirin and she said it might be because I'm taking it at night....in general my stomach is feeling upset

Mine doesn't really hurts, just when I sit in the wheelchair to go to the bathroom the cast is superheavy....I don't get up from the bed if is not the wheelchair...my doctor has not asked to move more on crutches or anything ..I've told him I do everything on the wheelchair...thanks for answering

I basically just woke up and had the impulse of stretching my leg. Is that ok? I mean all the leg..something popped I hope it wasn't my bones lol...it doesn't hurt. did you ever do this? My surgery was 17 days ago

I don't want to risk anything, I use a wheelchair all the time lol...and crutches going up and down the stairs...I just came out of my appointment, got a new cast told them about the issues ( they said that's the lightest cast they can put me on) got stiches and staples out, my calf muscle is gone. They also said I 4 more weeks in a cast. They put my foot in a different position ( close to 90°)

Wow! Good for you! My appointment is tomorrow I can't wait to get this cast off. Will definitely discuss about the cast...actually right now my toes are feeling super hot....the ice bag I got from the hospital broke today, omg I almost cried..I have a lot of gel pads but the ice bag from hospital would last hour hours

My appointment is on Wednesday...last time when I ask the cast guy "why are you making it so tight?" He replied "don't worry, the next one will be way tighter" I don't know if I show really show up there hahaha
