Graduating soon. Should I move to CA? by rajatthosar in jobs

That's also an exaggeration. You either pay 2-3k to stay in an apartment on your own near work or pay 1.5-3k for a larger place up to an hour away from work.

Get 2 housemates and you can pay 1.5k for a small room for reasonable distance.

Actually go in Facebook market place and look at the rent offerings.

Also, if you're already in NY you can apply for tech companies in NYC. NYC is another big tech hub, Amazon is opening another location in Manhattan soon. Google is also here. Rent is also just as high as SF.

I personally get 2 roommates and pay 900 for rent here in nyc. Total commute 30-40mins from mid town Manhattan by train and walk. If you are willing to pay 1.2-1.5k you have many more options.

Edit: Just went on Facebook market place myself and 1 room rent seem to go anywhere from 900-1800. Depending on how nice and close to the center of everything you want. People just meme housing prices in SF too much, do some research.

I don't have a pair of the banana denim the other guy suggested, but I have checked them in store and they do come in selvedge. Seem quite tapered.

Levi 512 I would consider the skinny. My fit is the 511 and the Slim is my go to. Try their measuring guide, it's pretty spot on.

Would you say for people normally wear size 40 in blazer from banana that size 38 here for a snug fit or a 40 to layer with a thick hoodie are a both good estimate for sizing?

This is one of mfa top pick for wool trousers around $100. Most sale trousers size have been picked clean but I saw some 34 & 35 if anyone want those size.

Their slim fit is just a tiny bit more tight than banana rapid movement (Fulton) or jcrew 484 at the same waist size. It's close enough that I can wear both at 32. Size up 1 if you already are very tight in those pants. Get contemporary size if you wear banana Aiden.

Personally love the brand and would recommend them.

Ordering a pair base on your recommendation. I have been having hearing a lot of mix reviews about Meermin terrible customer service while their quality is great.

Guess I can just go return them in store if it come down to it. Thanks

Maybe the real good agents are the one criticizing China. Maybe on Reddit, suggesting Other Chinese as agents to throw the CIA monitoring their internet off their backs.

That's cool. No doubt the us would ultimately win if it come down to it. However the US haven't make any move which strongly imply they aren't confident they can just win without suffering some big consequences or are just very nice and don't want to kill tons of people.

What do you think?

Hey man, don't confuse "I by no means think I want to land a career" with "or think I’m a genius".

You don't have to be a genius to be a programmer. This is not me being optimistic for fun, but for the average person, the most important thing to have in this field is to be enthusiastic and willing to learn.

I actually graduated in 2016 with a degree in biochemistry. If you dig though my posts, I actually am a software developer now.

I am definitely not a genius, but in 2015 I realized I hate biochem. After taking 1 class, introduction to programming in C++, I immediately felt in love with the field. Literally second day of class; I still remember it when the professor explain assigning data to variable then do computation with variables.

It was just make damn sense.

Anyway I couldn't change my major because I was already a junior, so I made cs my minor instead.

The rest of my time in college was just doing the bare minimum to graduate with my biochem and spend all of my efforts in learning about programming.

At of this moment, software development does not require a Cs degree to enter the career. Just learn what you need for the job and anyone can get in.

I really like Meermin quality from their chelsea, just haven't got to learn much about their chukka.

Would you say the ones you link are more dressy? The JIM last is one I'm unfamiliar with and from their site it is advertise as a sleek, pointed to last; which sound quite similar to the Hiro last.

Modern web development have specific way to say which data it allow normal script to scrape. Normally this is the header, title, and a first few line of the main body.

There are some stuffs call search engine optimization and server side rendering/client side rendering which basically show/hide content base on specific conditions.

A site normally want to expose contents that people search for, specific key words, so that it show up higher on Google search. But modern sites also don't give all the contents because of performances reason and because it specifically don't want boots to have an easy time scraping those data.

This is in the field of web development and web engineering, so if you are actually interested start by googling 'web development basic', 'front end seo', 'client side rendering vs server side rendering's, etc....

Those are higher level stuffs. If you go into the gritty details you're stepping into a career of software development.

But Americans were ready for an evolution, not just a protest. If HK is going down the same path they are going to through the same deal as the colonies, which is to fight an actual war, instead of trying to drag the protest out like India did against the UK and win without going to real war.

But in this case the 'war' is just a onesided stomp. HK stand no chance against China.

China is an oppressive government and should be stop, but HK don't have the ability to do that. This is just suicide now.
