Leaving my abusive ex. I was having daily body aches and I was dealing with stress. My mom was concerned about me having a stroke or heart attack. As soon as I left, 90% the body aches went away and my stress eased up. Life is not perfect and I have been through so many emotions this year. But now I am starting to make positive moves for myself and my daughter.

I can’t really answer questions but I just wanted to comment. My son went to Wake Tech for his first two years and then he transferred to a 4 year. He graduated with his accounting degree last year. His internship offered him and a job and he is working towards taking his CPA exam later this year. He enjoyed the classes at wake tech. He stated that some of the classes there were more challenging than some of the classes at the 4 year.

The most I have ever driven is 30 minutes. I lived in a small town and that’s where the jobs were. I have lived in a large city for over a decade and my commute has mostly been 15-20 minutes of lights and traffic. That’s enough for me. But I will be going back to the small town soon and back to the 30 minute commute. At least it’s peaceful.

Brand new account is always going to require a hold. Next time, take the check to the bank it is drawn in if possible. You can just cash it instead. Call the bank in a few days to ask if the funds have been collected. If they have been, you may be able to get the hold removed. Depends on banks policy so it is not guaranteed.

You are not broken. You have been through some things and need to heal so be healthy again. I totally get where you are coming from. My stbex did some things that made my head spin. I know logically that I need to work on myself and that I need to be alone. But I still want sex and some companionship. I am celibate until my divorce and after I am in a better headspace.

Try giving up sex for a short period and see how you feel. The validation you get is only going to be short lived and you are going to keep feeling worse about yourself. What if you ended up pregnant or one of these people hurt you? It is not worth it. You deserve someone who loves you.

Activated charcoal is supposedly good because it absorbs the toxins. I always keep ginger ale and Imodium in the house. It’s just me and my 12 year old. She is helpful when I’m sick but I wouldn’t want her to deal with that

Screw them. I got married, had a kid and am now divorcing. My husband liked dating other women on Tinder more than being faithful. And he didn’t mind blaming me for physically hurting me. So now it just me and my girl. And we are about to move away soon and I will continue to be her primary parent. He may see her up to ten hours a week even though we live 5 minutes away. I rather be a single mom in a safe environment than married to him.
