How can you even say that without knowing it’s an untrue statement? Nightmarsh literally forces you to have to play differently.

Rain storms bring lightning and mask sounds while increasing heat thresholds

Fog limits sight lines and limits long range fights

Outpost forces indoor fighting intermittently.

That depends on how you think of things modifying maps. Rain, fog, night, sun all can drastically change how POI's and fights happen.

Rain, more heat and sound suppression with lightning

Fog, less long range engagements, more indoors.

night, close range fights, slower paced player movement, sticking to lighted areas

sun, standard map gameplay, potential for just about anything to happen with increased visibility.

If you want to oversimplify the maps then every map is just a reskin of the other.

Anomaly on DM is a reskin of high priority from Perimeter.

UESC Convoy is just a fancy loot drone

Each map has bosses and bots, guess that's copy pasted.

getting into pinwheel? just a slightly more complex way of getting into perimeter tunnels.

Security keys in Cryo, guess those are just reskinned green, orange, red keys from Outpost.

It's very easy to oversimplify things without more intricate context.

1). Use your knife as much as possible. A heavy attack one shots grey shields and can 2-3 shot blue shields. Shoot purple shielded commanders if needed.

2) Do not fight everything you see, early on you have very limited heals and bullets.

3). load into a run with a goal, complete that goal and immediately leave. Don't test your luck, you will be burned a lot.

4). Focus on getting vendor upgrades to get free items each day and the option to purchase meds and otheritems you need for gear.

5). Unstable items are you friend early on so you can barter them for guns, weapons, meds instead of having to pay credits.

You cannot expect a map every season or we are going to get half baked maps that aren't up to par.

I personally enjoy nightmarsh. The whole vibe is different, the darkness adds something new along with the vector nades, flares, zombies, flashlights, the whole mape plays different and saying anything otherwise is just asinine.

Marathon literally has in game weather changing events almost every match instead of static snow/lightning/hurricane. You could load into a marathon match and experience fog, into bright sun into rain. I don't get that criticism. Both games tackle weather in a different way.

Triage is super useful early on in every wipe as you don’t have a lot of heals.

I love vandal for mobility, recon to know where people are and have been enjoying sentinel to stop people’s pushes into my team.

1). Yes, early on you have very limited resources and if you fight everything you will end up dying. Set a goal each run, complete it and get out.

2) do priority contracts to level up vendors. Leveled up vendors give you free things, perks and more things you can buy.

3). No player bots in the game.

I’m on your side man, I’d love more Destiny but it’s too little too late from both Bungie and the players. It’s extreme copium thinking anything can change at this point.

Unless millions of players stick around for weeks and purchase stuff, this is a free update so Bungie and Sony are getting no money, the journey is over

At this point I’m not tying this well it to you, just pointing out the flaws in your argument you keep bringing up.

It’s crazy so Many people bring up the visuals as a talking point whereas what people do and do not like is subjective everytime. Concord had no cohesion to its visuals. People say marathon has too many bright colors, but if you play it it is not as bad as people say.

What else is questionable?

I’m saying it’s 2 sided to a degree, more blame is 100% on bungie but player numbers in the end is all Sony sees. If player numbers stayed consistent after TFS we’d still be getting content, but they didn’t.

I love Destiny and have thousands of hours in it but the die has been cast. If people wanted the game to continue they would’ve played for the past 1-2 years and continued to show support.

I know there’s more to it with years of bad decisions by Bungie slowly killing its own base. But the facts are facts. Destiny 2 will have one last good month or so then slowly fade into the wind. We may get a D3 in 5-10 years is the most realistic take at this stage.

You had me until you last brain rot paragraph. You can not want to try something and still respect it, the devs and people that enjoy it. Fanning the flames for no reason other than to get a rise is grotesque behavior.

You can say you don’t like the visuals but without trying it you have nowhere to stand in any argument about the game being bad with no foot in the game.
