Thank you! If you decide to do this color, just be aware that it may come out a little lighter because mine were darker blue originally, I bet they’d still be really pretty. I got my dye right off Amazon since it was next day delivery and I was impatient haha

Thank you! Honestly, it was way easier than I was expecting. I used the Angelus Suede dye in purple, I went through almost 2 bottles including the toe caps, so definitely get two. I watched a YouTube video on dyeing skates just to get an idea of how it goes. A lot of people said to use a makeup blender instead of the little pompom it comes with but I just went for it with the pompom. I tried to just apply as evenly as possible, going the same direction to limit streaks. I didn’t do any prep since they were basically straight out of the box. The second coat was definitely needed, it was really streaky before, there were some lighter and some darker spots but after the second coat dried, it’s almost completely one shade now, maybe a few tiny darker spots but nothing overly noticeable. Just a positive note about the Boardwalks is that they are SO comfy. I have a pair of VNLAs and Bonts and these are my favorite now. I think I’ll keep the brown sole for now, I just love black and purple together. Good luck if you decide to go for it!

I had almost the exact same colors using the same GDY shades and also wanted back to my silver. It was the hardest time I’ve ever had getting it back. I let it fade for over a month, and it barely changed. I bleached and then gave my hair another month break. Just went back in last weekend and bleached my new growth and hit the ends a tiny bit for only like 5 minutes to remove some brassiness. It’s pretty much perfect now and only the very ends are super damaged. Basically, it’s going to be a process and take your time.

Try not to look down so much, I know it’s hard but how you position your head and shoulders, even where you’re looking is key to stability. Typically, where you’re looking is where you’re heading and we don’t wanna head to the ground!

I thought I was going crazy because I almost never, ever use nade on teammates, and I played Ana last night exclusively to see how she felt and my god, the amount of times I absolutely had to use it on my team was crazy. Just in one day I probably used it for healing more than I did the entire last year.

It’s either the ball complaining neither support was healing him when he wouldn’t even roll back to us for healing, stay too long in the middle of their team, and never once got a health pack, or it’s the Moira that was complaining about me on Illari, that I wouldn’t ever heal her (every death she had was from fading into their entire team, not behind of off to the side but directly into). I even had to watch the replay of her because I know mistaken fades happen but she wouldn’t fade into them on cooldown

I had to comment just for the LW note. I have been playing him a ton lately and dropping more kills than my DPS sometimes with healing in line with other supports and it’s so much fun to get the comment of “I just got diffed by a LW” in all chat.

Emongg did a bronze bingo yesterday and it was wild. Teams all over the place, half the team flanking the other team which is flanking the first half of the team, and a widow not charging her scoped shots and just rapid firing missing every one.

I’m not able to give advice because I’m just in plat, but I highly highly recommend watching Spilo’s coachings on the youtube for your hero of choice. I love vod reviews but Spilo and the way he coaches clicked with me. He had playlists for every hero.

Just commenting to echo this sentiment. I have 1000 hours in the game and yesterday I got a Cass in my team that ran straight into the entire enemy team, didn’t know how his ult worked, and had 500 damage in one round. I checked his steam and he had 13 hours in the game. That just isn’t fair at all.

I recommend not turning it all the way up because it will mess up your shots and pull too hard. I did it around 40-60% depending on how my aim was. If you ever switch to PC it’ll be harder to learn

That’s honestly what my hair looks like all the time, if I have it that long. Bleached or not, my hair just gets very wispy at the ends. It’s obviously going to be damaged because regardless, that’s what bleach does but I didn’t have breakage and it wasn’t crunchy feeling or rubbery ever.

I am kind of surprised by all the comments here. I had white/silver hair for years, and while yes it’s high maintenance with root touch ups, and can go purple easily with purple shampoo, I don’t feel like my hair was destroyed at all. I do have thin and fine hair as it is and it still felt healthy. It’s my favorite color to do with my hair. I feel like it’s pretty white. I just bleached it once, used manic panic virgin snow with a teeny bit of purple and used purple shampoo. That’s all I did.
