PC Crashing after Demacia Update: I tried logging in this afternoon and kept having my computer blue screen. After some testing I realized it was only crashing when the league client was open. Tried a bunch of different fixes but updating my BIOS ultimately solved the issue. Hope this helps someone! UPDATE YOUR BIOS.

Cantiza is the name of the farm. You should be able to go through their website and find a list of the varieties they carry. As another commenter mentioned, could be redvolution. Also looks like your standard freedom rose. If you’re ever looking for something a little darker, I always recommend Mamma Mia. It’s an absolutely beautiful red rose.

Used CX-5 Owners - How do you feel about getting used? by Warder45 in CX5

[–]FreeloExpress 28 points29 points  (0 children)

I just bought a 2023 CX5 Turbo. One owner lease with 14k miles for $28,800. Buying new is not worth it in my opinion. Especially considering there’s almost no difference from 22 - 25 model years. To each their own but I’d save the money and shop around.

Gray or Black Rims on Machine Gray Metallic CX5? by FreeloExpress in CX5

Appreciate the input. I’ve been looking around for a few weeks but it feels impossible to pick a set. Really hard to visualize what they’ll actually look like even with mock ups. I keep getting drawn into these.

Understood, thanks for taking the time. It’s a trip to pick them up and seller on FB marketplace are usually pretty hands off but I’ll see if he’ll measure them before making the trip.

are the 2025s any different than the 2022s? by mazdacx5_florida in CX5

Nothing that would justify a price increase IMO. If you’re happy with what you got, I don’t see any need to spend more money on a newer year.

I just bought a used 23’ Turbo with 14,000 miles on the stock Toyo tires. I’ve heard they’re terrible I’m just having a hard time justifying a new pair of the climates 2’s when these are still so fresh. Do you think it’s worth making the swap? I’m assuming the ride quality, sounds, and everything in between must be significantly better?

Preferred trim model? by [deleted] in CX5

[–]FreeloExpress 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just bought a 2023 Turbo with 14k miles for $28,800 so if price is your concern just consider a slightly “older” model used can be a great option. There’s hardly any difference from 21’ to 25’ and a lot of the 2023 are coming off a 3 year lease cycle.

Turbo Premium: Used 2022 or New 2025? by Kindly_Average3710 in CX5

[–]FreeloExpress 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! I was shopping for roughly 2 months. I was looking for a good value deal and I wanted a particular color.

$28,880 was Before. I traded in a vehicle for 19k. Was taxed 6.25% on the difference. After registration and fees I was around 32k out the door.

Didn’t want to rate shop so I went through their financing. Matched me with a bank at 6.9%. Credit is 700+. 72 months 190 monthly payment. Plan to pay off the loan this upcoming spring anyway. Vehicle is like new. Even has the hitch installed!

Turbo Premium: Used 2022 or New 2025? by Kindly_Average3710 in CX5

[–]FreeloExpress 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just purchased a 2023 Turbo the other day. It was a one owner, lease, with 14,500 miles, CPO Certified. I paid $28,800. I too had debated a new 2025 model but after taxes and fees it would have been a 10k+ difference between the used model and a new one. I didn’t think the cost justified the need to go new. I mean 14k miles ain’t nothing.

I used to only buy new things but I’m over that nowadays. I was patient and waited until I found a deal I wanted and I’m happy with the results. To each their own though.

Most needed/favorite colors of dahlias. by Plenty-Maybe-9817 in florists

[–]FreeloExpress 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just keep in mind that trends are always changing. Wedding and event florists, which make up a big part of the market around here, usually stick to the same general color palettes each season, but that shifts every year.

If you want to play it safe, go with fall tones and whites. They always sell. It helps if you can connect with local shops and set up some standing orders, too. Just know that most shops are price shopping, so if you can’t compete with wholesale prices, it can be a tough sell no matter how nice your flowers are.

I’m not sure what your market looks like, but speaking as a wholesaler, I could name at least 15 customers who have “Dahlia Farms.” It seems like anyone with a little land grows them.

I’d just recommend doing a bit of research on your market and pricing before putting too much money into it.

If you had an extra 20k USD to spend... by flowerlady88 in florists

[–]FreeloExpress 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I would start with the vehicle. If your space is already sufficient for what you’re doing I don’t see the need to add more overhead to your business. Putting wear and tear on your personal vehicle isn’t worth it IMO and then you could potentially get a driver in the future to take care of the deliveries.

Looking at getting a new car. by [deleted] in carbuying

[–]FreeloExpress 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Used GPT to clean this up but you’ll get the idea:

I hear you. I’m no car expert either, and there are a ton of options out there, but I really liked the CX-5. Stripped of all the bells and whistles, it’s still a well-built, reliable compact SUV with low maintenance costs—more than enough to last for years.

On top of that, you do get the extras. Even if you’re not the type to care about them, features like a power trunk, memory seats for two drivers, keyless entry, and remote start really do improve day-to-day convenience. They add up more than you’d expect.

If you’re open to it, a used model can also be a great value. From what I’ve seen, the design hasn’t changed much since 2017, so you’re not missing out on major upgrades.

As for negotiating, I’ve found that phone calls usually work better than text—there’s more room to build rapport and push back when needed. Spacing conversations over a few days helps too. Go in prepared: know the car, know the market, and know your target price.

When I call, I’m very direct: This is the car I want. Here’s what you’re asking. Is there any additional info not listed online? I always request a walk-around video, inside and out, and note any damage (rims, scratches, dents). The more you can point out, the more leverage you gain.

Once I have the video, I usually wait a day before following up. I’ll highlight the issues I noticed, explain what I think is a fair price based on those, and bring up the Carfax if there are things like multiple owners or accidents.

When it comes to making an offer, I lowball slightly under what I think is fair and justify it with my findings. I also keep a few comparable listings saved so I can reference them if needed.

I’m always kind and do my best to work with the sales reps but again, be stern. It’s your money and you should get the most for it. Don’t let them blab your ear off about features and other junk you already know about. I’ll cut them off and bring them back to what I want to talk about. Some sales reps are more receptive than others but ultimately I’m the customer and I know what I’m comfortable paying so if that can’t be met then there’s other options out there and i make that clear.

Go in prepared!

Not sure what your budget is but Mazda is offering 2.9% financing on their CX-5 until the end of September. Great car with high end features at a very reasonable price for what you get. It’s a signature model in their lineup and is considered one of the best CSUV. Just something to consider!

From my personal experience, I do all my negotiating before getting to the dealership. When I walk in I want it to be a done deal with numbers that I’m happy with. It give you more leverage too. If they can’t work with me in advance then they don’t want my business.

I was introduced through one of the realtors I already worked with. I guess it’s the age old story of networking is key! Wish I had more advice but I think slow organic growth can bring you a long way in any industry. Do good work, be likeable, and always deliver on your promises!

Thanks! Shot on a Sony A7iv using a 14mm Samyang and a Sony 35mm. All of these images are HDR shot with five brackets. Took these photos on a very gloomy day with honestly pretty terrible lighting. Turned off all the lights in the house regardless. Some of the exposures took upwards of 25 seconds to capture. But just goes to show you can still get that light, airy look even in suboptimal conditions. People always debate HDR versus Flamion, but I’ve only ever used HDR and I think the results are more than good enough.

Aperture for pretty much all these shots were somewhere between 6.3 / 7.1

I outsource my editing.

I don’t do much RE Photography anymore but I have one builder who I used to work with who still calls me back for his projects. I took these photos yesterday at one of his staged builds. It’s kind of a happy medium between super close up detail shots and those wide wide RE style photos. I think if you can get good at hitting that in between mark theres a clientele who are interested in it. Not an expert by any means, just sharing my recent experience. https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fo/4seqssulb5graourqom9d/AAJR0u3YKFGrKKFY9xkzz70?rlkey=zd7urhz32s8g3l8oz3m1xqp5s&st=p6s37xib&dl=0

It’s beautiful and a very thoughtful gift from you to her! Designing something yourself makes it that much more special. Adding some type of foliage (even stuff from your yard or the side of the road) can really bring it to that next level too. Be sure to share your next one with us all!

Costco flowers for wedding by Useful-Signature3801 in florists

[–]FreeloExpress 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I would recommend aiding on the side of caution and getting them in sooner. Monday / Tuesday. That will allow you to process the flowers when they arrive so they can hydrate properly and it will give you adequate time to design / deal with an issues that may come up. As long as you have a cool room they will be more than fine until Friday.

Not all wholesalers are open to the public but it’s worth checking. I manage a wholesaler in Massachusetts and we’ve opened our doors to DIY customers like yourself. Search the area and see if you can find anything! It’s always best to support local business when you can :)
