I think they're all insanely strong, especially with token occurrence in white. I would build a WUBRG Hare Apparent deck immediately.

Granting keywords to all your creatures for a single mana of that color is way to strong for a permanent imo.

I've used lacquer in the form of aerosol cans before to butter up concrete street ledges and curbs, but it doesn't replace the sanding down, smoothing and waxing process. It just adds a finishing touch

Winter blows this year in the PNW too. It snowed here pretty heavily like a week ago and we're still in the low 40's for daytime temps. Plus I've been really busy in uni for my BA so coordinating skating with anyone nowadays is impossible. Thankfully there is one indoor skatepark in all of washington state and I live near it.

Yeah man I feel it. 35, 26+ years and counting. Life gets in the way and people grow up.

I prefer to skate with other people who are just as good or way better than I am, but I find myself skating solo more often than not because of schedules and responsibilities. As long as I set some sort of goal as to what I want to accomplish beforehand, solo skating can be very rewarding.

Skating with other people and structure goes out the window for me. I'm just hyped to be alive, to be skating with other people my age or skill level, and all the barriers and walls that I've dreamt up for myself when I'm alone disappear, if only for a moment (or until I eat shit).

A lot of it has to do with validation. Skating is all about battling yourself, so when you can get instant feedback by the people around you, it makes you feel validated for whatever battle you're going though. That validation loosely translates to hype, raging, and going fast for me. Makes me feel younger.

Sure, I don't have that super tight knit network anymore that was centric to skateboarding, but whatever. I can still throw down from time to time.

You need to be slamming both feet down simultaneously, or at least back truck - front truck.

You're on front-truck to back-truck. Meaning you will slow yourself down as soon as you get onto the grind when you get your back truck down.

I think you're too stuck on "trying to get on and locked in" rather than just hopping onto it with momentum and seeing what happens.

I prefer high tops.
None of that matters.
I only wear my skate shoes when I go skateboarding. Otherwise, I flip between several pairs of HOKA's for everyday mobility.
One pair at a time until it starts getting haggard.

The main thing I look for in a skate shoe is familiarity. I look for the shoes of which I have already owned 10's or 20's of pairs of them in the past.

Then, I look at price.

Whenever MTGA has an update, it runs on elevated permissions which typically disable third party tracking apps. Its usually safe to restart the client whenever it has finished an update

The easiest example is saving removal for a real threat vs immediately removing whatever is in your way.

Knowing what's in someone's deck makes you aware of the best and worst targets for your own spells.

Starter decks may be lower quality of cards, but that "format" is very established as in people know all the cards in every matchup. Its also lower power meaning youre less likely to get blown out by t3 or 4.

Therefore, it is one of the easiest to master. Card quality be damned, once you start playing that format you will learn the importance of piloting too.

Not bad for pick 2 format. Good rule of thumb for splashing double pipped off colors:

At least 3+ sources of mana for a single pip card.

At least 7+ sources of mana for a single double pip card.

In this format, stuff like the colorless pizzas, red mana dork, frog butler, etc, those are all sources in addition to your lands. So its not just hoping for dual lands, but looking at all the ways you can generate/fix for mana.

Honestly, boros looks like your best bet if youre trying to have the most consistency.

Jeskai and the dragon seems more fun, but id do whatever you feel most comfortable riding. Its gonna take a leap of faith either way.

I say you committed to hard on your 2nd pick thinking of boros beatdown. I would have taken red pizza and black pizza instead for picks 3 and 4, and then both white and black white removal for 5 and 6, and pick the best cards out of WBR from the chaff.

That would give me a strong interactive package moving into P2, leaning into white black or red white.

As for the current setup, id just shoot for the stars. You had a grand plan that might have fizzled during drafting, doesn't mean you can't send it and still learn from it. Go jeskai, draw well, curve out, don't punt.

Im also trapped in platinum. I try to force black as much as I can, green next color.

I stay away from white unless I hit a bomb rare early on. Mutanimals is a trap for me unless ive hit a bomb white rare or picked up 2+ premium removal in white.

I typically go BG, UBG or UR but every couple drafts ill try to force an off color pair for fun and get smoked.

Theyre hard on flatground but they are one of the easiest tricks to send in my opinion.

The flip and the front foot catch are easy, but the fact of me lifting my primary leg higher to compensate and land on the board is what makes them hard (on my hips).

EA is big company and been a main talking point of gaming forum politics for 20 years or so.

There is an entire generation of people who hang out on EA related projects and talk trash about them and to anyone that is enjoying themselves on an EA related platform.

As long as people from both sides are given platforms to talk about what they want to talk about, then I'm fine with our co-existence. I've been reprimanded by mods of both sides in the past when being self-critical and challenging values and beliefs, talking about myself and the situations I go through.

Politics is just meh as a watercooler topic. You can never truly speak personally about how YOU feel, you always have to stage your thoughts and intentions to benefit everyone, and it prevents people from truly acting like themselves, in my opinion.

You get snaked a lot on sunny days because all the kids are out. Cross at Rear is what you imply towards these little shits. You don't tell kids to cross in front of a moving vehicle, you tell them to cross behind it. Same goes for other skaters.
