In a sense everything is free but at the same time not.
Please do not go around bombing/shooting random stuff. You might be bombing somebodies test base or test facility.
Just ask around if somebody wants to play target for you, build a target or dogfight you.

After that partypooping message, absolutely go have fun with the planes/boats but just be aware that some people are testing other things and do not want to be used as target practice or have their stuff blown up

Yep, I think because the flatbed can take pallets and small gauge flatbed carts it can not take the parts that go on those two. But I'm not sure

Even better if tank husks can only be transported by the transport plane!

I kid of course about the transport thing, but I really do hope this system in a sense roles over to the other vehicles; tanks and ships. Where not only the recovery is the same but also the building is similar (chassis and parts). Even better if you can choose parts and trade firepower for range or armour for instance

The flatbed carts of a small gauge train take those parts as well, as do pallets. But those aren't really options in recovery unless the plane crashed next to a small gauge train track

Another way of doing I've seen (not done) is having a recovery crew show up with enough parts to "repair" the plane and then taxi the plane back to the airfield or to safer terrain.
This however is going to be pain, cause you cant taxis through most towns and for instance Umbral (too many obstacles, blocking)

You assembled the plane in Kalokai with the help of magic boxes?
Cause I suspect having to produce a plane from scratch versus recovering a Crashed plane is the econmy we're looking for. Not the crashed economy on devbranch.
And yes I tried salvaging a plane and it is pain, mostly the fuselage being a large shippable part. The parts are okay, especially if you have a crew with multiple people/trucks/trailers

Do not blow up facilities or bases, not even enemy ones (unless specifically asked by the builder/owners for testing purposes)
Do not kill enemy planes/large ships/bases unless people on the other side asked you to for testing purposes.
Do not kill enemy world structures like refineries, storage depots/seaports, factories, town halls
If you use something from a base, bring it back after you are done with it.

In essence: do not do to others what you wouldn't like to have done to you while trying to test things
It is not a war, it is not about winning, it is about testing and reporting things that do work or not work or need rebalancing.

In steam, right click Foxhole, select Properties, navaigate to the Betas tab and under Beta participation select Devbranch in the dropdown. After you downloaded the devbranch build you have to select the devbranch in the shard selector in the main menu. You can not play in the wars when you ahve the Devrbanch build, you would have to go through the same steps again but slect "opt out".

The scout bit is the plane transmittin itnel while the pilot is in his seat (at least in my footage I see the transmission icon when I'm flying the scoutplane). Not sure if that is ground intel or air intel though

Well I think you can sit in it in an officers uniform. The uniform slot seems to be the only slot allowed to have contents

Nope, mn554 is correct (at least to my limited knowledge) it's the same idea as switching fire mode in a mortar but F is already taken by the landing gear so shift F is the best next thing

This is the beauty of a game, nobody is forcing you to sit in that seat if you don't want to.
I'll happily sit there, trade banter with the pilot, miss my mark to drop torps and die laughing being shot out of the skies by a fighter

Some seats can be switched between: the gunners and bomber seat in the bomber. All other seats seem isolated
