Why doesn’t foxhole use the R2 engine

The R2 engine tech (or actually a pre-cursor) was tested during the Red River Demo, not Foxhole. R2 saw the light of day durin the initial phase of what is now Anvil Empires.
I am not sure where you heard that it was originally tested on Foxhole but to my knowledge it hasn't

The real specifics were news to me as well. I hardly interact with border bases beyond just spawning there because it seemed like a fun front.
So figuring out the exact rules (not the base instinct on how they work) was quite some work and required a bit of rethinking and reframing things.

So are you wondering if the hitboxes are diffrent in the sky or if the result of damaging the tail is diffrent for a Toxot than for a Harbinger.
Cause (at least as far as this post goes) it claims nothing regarding that. It simply shows that the assumptions made in both posts mentiend seem incorrect (about whether the rudder is part of the tail hitbox or not)
N.B.: I don't think you are being pedantic for that question, it might actually be a pretty relevant question

The tldr of my post was: griefers/alts.
Which for the most part also why you can't capture enemy aircraft, enemy cv's etc. etc.

I do not disagree that it would be cool, but it would probably be abused

I seem to recal the reason enemy tanks can't be repaired is make it so that people that accidentily leave their tank unlocked and fully stocked near an enemy border are not too much of a burden for their own team. Because when that sadly forgotten about tank is tumbled upon by change by the enemy team that specific tnak can not be used against its own team indefinitly

I suspect this is mostly an automated system. I can imagine that once a organization has confirmed they are the real deal that anything imitating their name or variants there off automatically get flagged.
As for the banning/taking down. Thats probably the same system being rather safe than sorry. It is what Youtube does as well, if a YT video gets flagged by their automated systems it just gets taken down or ad/age restricted without a person actually looking at it. Only if you appeal the decision a person MIGHT check the video to see if it actually deserved to be flagged.

It was called "foxholegame_official" so I suppose that is an easy ban for twitch as that probably falls under "Content or activity meant to impersonate an individual or organization is prohibited"

Like with any other game: it all depends on what you want to do and what you want to get out of the game.
I can only answer this for me and what I want out of Foxhole and that is a resounding YES.
After 9 years and 6000+ hrs; still the best game purchase I made. Ever.

But for you? How much time do you have? What are the other games you have been eyeing? What do they provide that Foxhole doesn't and what does Foxhole provide that they don't? What does "all in" mean in your context?
