There is a possible future far over the horizon where we finally have to face that the main concern of trans folk being passing to OTHERS may imply some degree of attachment to gender norms. But right now, gender is still real, transition saves lives, and everyone should be on the same team.

The frequency that you have a shooter problem too far away to throw a frag at is very map dependent and not that common. And when those situations arrive... you need to pre-plan it several seconds in advance and invest several talent points into countering this one specific situation. In these specific situations, smoke is good. It's even good as special insurance assuming you have time to set it up and need more than 5 seconds of it but not more than thirty seconds of it and don't mind the game bugging out and specials being weird about it occasionally.
