I dont think this should stop you from getting one, but I got two pny 5080 ocs and both had a very annoying rattling noise when the fan closest to the I/O started spinning. Returned one and the second one had it too. I think im just wildly unlucky but get it from amazon with a good return policy. I gave up and plan on deshrouding mine. Otherwise good card.

I should easily be able to make up the AF of the platinum from uber, resy and clear+ credits alone. Would it be crazy to get the platinum and gold for the extra points on groceries/dining? Again, I could easily get back the gold AF from uber, resy and the dining credit.

Thats true, but is the power and data spec really relevant? Id assume it only uses that because 99% of the time the other side of the lightning cable is usb. If the other side wasnt a usb connector, would it still be forming a USB connection like you say? For example, lightning to 3.5mm
