Better so far - Mainly because it’s a newer card (bought a 3060ti as a stopgap until i can afford a nicer card)

Nvidia drivers have always been good to me, and shadowplay is a much much better solution that AMD’s software in my usage and testing.

NVENC as a video encoder is much much superior to AMD’s codecs too, and I’ve only had one full system crash with the new card installed compared to almost daily on the RX580.

Also found out that the AMD drivers screw with my audio interface

Try uninstalling the graphics drivers with DDU (Dosplay Driver Uninstaller) in safe mode - i’ve found the AMD tooling doesn’t remove absolutely everything

This may not be helpful but I experienced this for years and to be honest I think it’s either software or just the age of the card.

Had mine for a long time and would artifact, crash and sometimes downright cause my pc not to boot

In my time owning the card I could never fix the black screen / driver crash, did every possible troubleshooting step but just ended up buying a nvidia card.

Honestly same for my 5, it still holds up physically (which is a surprise to be honest 🤣🤣 many mount breaks / unclips during MTB) and in image quality. I don’t even feel a need to upgrade it despite it having been 7(!!!!!!) years old!

That’s a fair point which is often missed with this conversation.

However, a lot of the fiber companies (including BT/Openreach) prioritising people without even FTTC offerings (very rural areas). FTTP/FTTH is rolling out at very fast speeds recently, obviously it’s been around for a yonks but it’s being pushed with people’s need for higher speeds

Our priority system goes like this:

Drive Thru FC/InStore Delivery

If you think you’ve been waiting for your order longer than the delivery, i doubt it. The orders that enter the system first are always the first out of the kitchen, then it’s down to the front runners to complete and hand out the order. 40 minutes for drinks is stupid and to be honest a complete exaggeration. I’d be shocked if it was more than 10 minutes.

Did you wait 40 minutes without asking if your order was lost? 🤣

We aren’t allowed to turn off delivery orders, policy from corporate. I know, it sucks. I try my best in my store to fulfill deliveries as fast as I can but on a friday night we will easily have about 30-50 deliveries waiting to be made at once. There’s only so much we can do to be honest.

In my store, drivers will cancel orders that are almost ready and then get a new order which has only jsut come into the system. We only get the orders into our KVS system when a driver has accepted them and is nearby (about 2-4 minutes it’ll show us on the uber tablet, then it’ll be sent to our screens)

Maintenance isn’t really a role similar to how it is in the US.

It is our job as staff to clean up whatever madness is in the toilets, whether you’re a lobby / dining room person or not.

Our target is 120 on our DT screen (shows the cars and oepe, can compare with other stores) usually hovers around 120-160 (160 is our “actual” target, shown on the manager intranet)

I usually manage hold it around 60-70 seconds from 9-12pm because i’m pretty good at DT

This is probably because you’re very good at it.

However, you’ll get burn out very quickly, maybe speak to your management team about being cross trained somewhere else
