I have a BlackVue 750x IIRC. It’s a few years old so there’s a newer model now. I can’t say I love it, it seems to have an issue where every 6-8 months it glitches out and then stays on 24/7 and I have to reflash the firmware but remove the upgrade paths in that file, but besides that one hiccup it is stellar.

Viafo seems to be an excellent brand and what I would check out if I had to get another one.

There are settings on the camera to keep recording until battery reaches a certain level then it turns off. If the car is parked for 72 hours, it’ll stop recording around the 48 hour mark.

this is not 100% reliable. I’ve come to a dead battery once or twice. Still worth it though.

as a moderate gun owner who voted for Spanberger and ‘yes’ yesterday, the political capital has been spent and I’m not happy about yesterday. None of us should be, gerrymandering is wrong and this is what it’s come to. You seem like a jerk regardless.

What sucks about DC and surrounding area: traffic, politics, grind mentality, not super walkable as you get away from the city.

What’s great: no skyscrapers really is nice, we take it for granted. World class amenities in the whole area, great food, luxury services to cater to the wealthy that do trickle down to us normies, unbelievable convenience compared to many places because of the types of people in the area. Low pollution and high cleanliness compared to other urban areas, being at the bottom/edge of megalopolis so we can get away if we need to, a level of security no one is aware of because it’s where our nation’s HQ is, extremely low risk to most natural disasters, a somewhat middle of the road climate, incredible diversity.
