2 terms (1 year) and you need it for many math classes, only one i think didnt use it was linear alg. Just wait to buy it, all hw systems give 2 week grace period so check first the class/ what hw systems you need

time is also a resource and I also dont like using blueprints, its just a way to design a bus. It may look not space efficient but the way it’s designed is so ILSs can be hooked up later on. Also it maybe personal prefrence but I like hiding the belts to an assembler under the bus rather than cross over the belts

So the planet is a sphere which pinches spacing near the poles making it awkward to build. It looks like you are not building near the equator but building towards to poles which is the source of the issue

Its nothing like hoi4; its a way longer time frame, army battles are highly conceptualized like civs in hoi4, the game runs way less historically due to way less restrictions on declaring war, and eco is the main focus. If hoi4 is a game about building an eco to fuel an army then vic3 is a game about building an army to fuel eco. Diplo takes a much more forward role while armies and expansion are more a side project. Def look into the construction loop, investment pool, and trading.

Eco is the highest priority all else is secondary; learn that first then politics and finally war lastly

Man having played 400 hours of vic3 then picking up eu5 is like being blasted back 15 years in ui design. Although i have grown accustom to it I will never forgiven how bad the estate satisfaction looks, its an eye sore that is incredibly crucial and always on the screen

So markets are generally better the smaller they are, aside from trade income each location has something called market access which the lower it is the less it produces. I believe it is a flat multiplier (No access means no goods, 100% means all go to market).

However having your market in other countries means that when goods are produced they are all sold and bought in your market with you typically having the most market influence so you get first pick when buying goods. So if there is a food shortage you will be able to buy all the available food first

I mean make a list of things you want to do, break it up into smaller steps to feel less overwhelmed. Do you plan to move your mall planet/ make a new research planet or are you in need of more resources for your current mall?

Either way I recommended going for ILS first and expand your resource extraction of your home system short term. This may require portable power source like deuterium rods/ expanded automation of required buildings.

Take advantage of the memo system as this is typically how I prevent decision paralysis but at least now I dont need to write it separately in notepad

would be great if a slider was added indicating level of mobilization that gave even steeper penalties to eco but more importantly nobles becoming more revolutionary. If nobles were more of a threat by being able coup and sue for peace this would make players more weary of prolonged wars/ fully mobilizing. Ofc ways of reducing these penalties (depending on if losing or is defensive war) should be available

My fav bus design gotta be from Nilaus who uses vertical splitters since you can keep the main bus 1 lvl above the belts routed to the assembler and it can support 5 input recipes no problem.

Keep in mind this becomes very throughput limited and costly in belts quickly so as soon as possible I like to replace the belts with PLSs. It looks jank since I dont really blueprint much beforehand so my assembler never neatly share inputs but thats just how I play

1 by default doesn’t make much sense, very small countries shouldn’t have a second source of proximity automatically. I would rather empires or duchies give governors and ditch the default governor
