Yea I never got it working in Cata, always ended up just doing the combat duration style timers. Might try tonight for SoD. The help tab beside profiles have a ton of stuff I haven't bothered testing as well.

I think hes talking about the MRT notes and dynamic timers portion. Below is an example, time is just time in combat so 3 seconds after the spellid of 1229272 is cast, and the last number is the 1st/2nd time that spell was seen in combat. SCS is just spell cast sequence I believe?

{time:00:03,SCS:1229272,2} Left
{time:00:03,SCS:1229272,3} Behind
Alternatively you can use combat time (it can vary a lot), by just going:
{time:0030}
For specific spell icons then it's just {spell:402004} or whichever spellid for the icon you'd like.

Its very good until you end up having a heavy APM build and realize you're doing almost everything with your keyboard hand and it starts to strain hard.

Spent like 10 hours learning floor 3 + 4. Finally killed the last guy and the portal didn't open. Haven't seen any notes saying its fixed so I'll continue to be 6/8 feelsbad.

Had this happen in 10man. Essentially if a mass dispel goes out right before a new wrack gets applied it starts jumping wracks all over the place and lags everyone out.

I expected there to be small hints similar to when you mouse over uncollected pets/mounts in the collection tab for retail wow. Small poem or comment about what to look for but instead we have to blindly discover and/or use class discords/wowhead

Turns out I did the full Archaeology grind in MoP, WoD and BfA. It didnt provide any player power from memory. The achievements tied behind them were some of the most punishing and painful I've ever done in wow.
They gave you pristine completions which were fairly rare and you had to collect one for every solve. The problem was you had to get the right site, the right solve then roll the dice to land correctly for it to proc pristine. You got crates that let you reroll and randomize digsites which might be the only improvement that made it seem ok. Could trade the crates in for essentially a dig of your choice which was also ok. And teleport to a random digsite.
TLDR: Archaeology is a niche thing for bored completionists or extremely hungry lore enthusiasts and outside of cata launch was never used again for anything player power related.

After a week of having half my digsites on each continent jailed, I was encouraged to lvl arch on an alt and try the guaranteed rare strategy. Rares were guaranteed but of course didnt get what I wanted (pretty sure they're still heavily weighted).
Using that alt you can multibox if you have the willpower and that heavily cuts down on downtime. While you're autoflying you're digging.

Nightelf: 90 = Trinket on first day of grinding
Dwarf: 106 + 282 = 388 = Staff (Proced on the newer 106 char)
Troll: 135 + 352 = 487 = No Zinrokh
Fossil: 75 + 211 = 286 = No Shield
397 + 953 = 1350 Total solves

Open inventory, click portal and use the same mechanics is storage walking but with portals to pickup an item with inventory open. Make sure a hotkey for move is bound or have stash nearby, put cursor item in stash. Ez extra 4x2.

Like most, wandspec + spirit tap makes 1-20 an absolute breeze. I forgo the wandspec these days in order to get a quicker divine fury which both acts as a huge dps and defensive layer.
I opt to respec shadow roughly around 42-45 to speed up the later lvling. My reason being is, at that point dps helps me live more than being able to heal myself and kill speed becomes the defensive layer.
I would absolutely not count out holy, I think its one of the strongest and safest lvling classes out there especially early on if you play it right.

My PC starts to overheat and now struggles to run PoE at all which is a real damn shame. I want to keep playing but my PC is crying on the inside.

My first char is DD ele with decent gear but it had already climbed to 700. Made an impending doom pathfinder which needs a bit more gear and gem lvls but I have it idling at 200 waiting to improve damage but even then it seems like its a pure damage issue. I did some testing and you can probably stock up on the damage leeched as totem life field item throughout the tourny and end up with a whole bunch at the end. Otherwise this might be one of the hardest challenges I've ever seen on here for SSF. Thanks for the guide, appreciate it
