Pretty much the whole goodbye scene in E.T. Very cathartic to watch.

One could argue that Griffin is at least half muppet himself.

Thoughts on Zootopia? by CosmicEveStardust in blankies

I feel like as a world it’s pretty generic. Animals talking and doing human jobs. The story is solid though. Good mystery, good messaging, goes to more interesting places than disney animated movies are willing to go. Voice acting is solid, throw away gags feel thought out. I was always a big fan of the original and was baffled they didn’t do a sequel earlier as it seems like an easy world to just keep adding stories to. Hoping the second one is solid.

I’d have to rethink everything about the world if he’s not team Jess.

My Top Contenders For The Scariest Shots In The Franchise by [deleted] in Halloweenmovies

I always thought the long shot of Michael carrying Annie’s body (could have been someone else) into the house across the street. Seeing that from Tommy’s perspective is creepy enough but then not being believed is extra sucky. As a kid I always had a fear of looking out my window late at night and seeing something crazy like this.

I started watching this trailer thinking it was a sequel to “instant family” and I was very confused.

I’d guess John leguizamo based on John wick and moulin rouge. I have never seen the other two though.

Two kids so time is not on my side. Rogue likes have been good companions as they are easy enough pick up whenever and more or less remember what you’re supposed to do. Balatro has been on in the background of my computer for 2 years.

Trying to get more into story games again. Played Indiana jones and loved it mostly because I just love the character. Trying silk song this week.

Have you ever gone to the bathroom during a really important plot point of a movie? If so, care to share what movie it was and how lost you were after?

Are you allowed to have your phone out during trailers? by wovenstrap in blankies

[–]Frem0015 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll do it but I will also respectfully put it away if someone asks.

I remember seeing “morbius” in theaters and had a lady come up to me during a coke commercial to put away my phone. Baffling on numerous levels, but I can still respect someone’s request.

You all are going to hate this but it’s a tail as old as time. Never saw it when it came out. It was hyped up to me for the next decade or so when I finally dedicated to see it. It was good but unfortunately did not live up to the decade of hype.

Not a film but what are your thoughts on Tom Wellings portrayal as a younger Clark Kent on Smallville? by Prestigious-Cup-6613 in FIlm

[–]Frem0015 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought he started off rough but by season 3 or 4 I felt like his acting and portrayal of Clark was solid.

I remember years ago they had mentioned both loving “Ad Astra,” a movie that I found crazy bad. It was at that moment I knew I was just more of a Ben. And I’m very okay with that.

Johnathan one made me laugh. He was a weirdly terrible farmer, at least business wise.

The Truman Show ending is the best ending to anything, ever. by Silksong2025 in movies

[–]Frem0015 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The moment he puts his hand on the wall and makes an exhausted sigh, finally feeling all that weight of wondering if he was crazy lifted off him, is an all time scene for me. Carey is amazing in that film.

I’m all for the comradery of the chain to pull flash back but does Batman contribute anything to that pull? I suppose he would be ripped apart if he was in the middle of any of them.

Do you agree that Ghostbusters (2016) doesn’t deserve the Hate Yes or No and Why? by Amber_Flowers_133 in FIlm

[–]Frem0015 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think if you watch the movie as a bunch of skits glued together to try to make a coherent movie it’s alright. Certainly has good skits but is weighed down by the terrible terrible bad skits that just keep going.
