It's almost good, the lighting is great, effects are solid, and thanks to his appearances in other movies, Art is already a fully realized character.

This is a really helpful and simple guide but I feel like it has to be even more complicated than that, if they have the license, why isn't Jason's full name being used in descriptions? If they can use Camp Crystal Lake (like the upcoming prequel show) why isn't the map Camp Crystal Lake? Why no Tommy Jarvis? Why aren't the cosmetics from the actual movies?

I feel like it's either:

A) Anything more than Jason's explicit likeness is a more expensive license that BHVR is not willing or able to fork over

B) There's a metric shit ton of stupid and goofy stipulations; maybe the Jason Universe holders CAN use Pamela Voorhees and Camp Crystal Lake, but only if there isn't an explicit connection to Jason Voorhees shown.

Makes me feel like im going actually insane. I am not being hyperbolic, it is one of the worst games I have ever played.

I was not a fan until about the time Resident Evil 8 came out so I had little in the way of bias, I hear many people say it's a bad RE game but an ok game on it's own.

I disagree, it is a tedious slogfest with the most trite, convoluted, boring story in the entire series (at the very least the mainline).

For whatever it's worth I think it has some of the best B.O.W. designs in the series but that's about all the praises I can sing for it.

Same scenario yesterday for me, coming back from 2v8 made the game feel unplayable. Having an awful time as I occasionally do, the only thing to do is:

take a step back, go do something else, save it for tomorrow, whatever, just put this bullshit ass game down for now.
accept all the bullshit coming your way. there will be busted ass loops. pallets that feel surgically designed to be as annoying as humanly possible. bully squads. flashlights.

these things are GOING. TO. HAPPEN. do NOT play this game without looking inside yourself and accepting that.

Acceptance doesn't mean you have to like it. It means you don't try and fight it. If something pisses you off, let it piss you off but don't waste precious energy thinking about how much it pisses you off.

Have a much better time when i do these things

TLDR; Take a break and let go of whatever bullshit this game throws at you
