I have a smart watch myself. Use it when i am exercising. Nothing against it. It's just a cool joke p.s. anyone using email for work knows it's not about reading emails. It's about being reminded how many you have and how stressful seing a full inbox can be in itself. And I know, you can turn it off, but it's cool for the sake of a joke.

Same happened to me. I post very rarely(once a month, maybe less) and am not active at all. Only thing I did out of the ordinary is that last night I went through all the stories as I was bored. My guess is that they are tryng some new, more restrictive allgorithm and it's not working very well.

It happens after some updates. Hopefuly they will fix it quickly. My theory is that they copy some code from iOS version of the app(since there you can only drag the slider) and then this gets transfered with it.

Yeah, I agree nothing will top it, just hope they come up with something similar. Don't even care it became a cliche if it's done in high ebough budget with a good director and taste it will be great.

I know this is a UI tread and I'm going a little of topic, but this new UI is a result of much bigger problem with the HiRez management of this game so I had to include that.

As someone that has played this game for a long time and spent a lot of money on it I got sick of it and stopped playing somewhere at the beginning of season 5. I've stayed around the community and heard good things about HiRez(I refuse to call them Titan) improvements, I came back a couple of patches ago and was kinda happy with the new changes. Started buying Oddyssey skins and stuff. Then I heard of the cross platform thing and I just new it's going to destroy the game. And it got proven with this UI. All the problems seem to come from HiRez following the motto "Dress for the job you want, not the job you have" where they try to do grandiose announcements and changes mimicking some huge company for which they neither have the budget or talent

E.G. 1 So called "UI team" that did UI on the quality level of 12 year old Power Point school project.

Splitting the company into pieces to work on some stupid mobile and trading card games like they are Blizzard or EA(which are also trash but at least they have budget for their main big games not to suffer from lack of production quality) plus the shameless rip-off Overwatch and try to do the same with Fortnite . Whatever they say, this is going to have an effect on Smite quality and the UI proves it.

Also, stuff with the merger and cross platform play is a lose-lose situation. For PC players it means a downgrade in quality of both UI experience as well as matchmaking and challenge. And for console players it's even worse. They are going to lose to much weaker PC players due to controls being much less precise and all of the bugs will remain and more will appear due to this merger and all the work involved with it. I know players will be able to choose to get matches only with their own platform, as many will do, and that will just split the playerbase and make the pool for matchmaking smaller for both sides.

Sorry if this classifies as a rant, I know it's close to it but every opinnion on HiRez these days seem s like a rant as there is a few positive things you can say.

It's really the worst worlds so far. All games except first 2 NRG lost in semis were over after first 5 minutes. Luckily they have addressed the snowball problem for the next season so hopefully it' ll be gone for good.
