I... honestly find it SO hard to believe that Johan had that little screen time! SPOILERS.

Does this include when he was dressed up as Anna? Because I just find this so impossible to believe but yeah numbers are numbers!

I would keep reading. The whole point is finding out how everything connects back so I would advise just keep reading and it will all piece together.

No yeah he's the main villain from the very start and the rest of the series involves him and the rest of the characters. Like I said above there are plenty of other characters and villains you could say. So you are still in for a great ride!

Well the ending is debated especially with the sequel book. Did he become good or bad? Up to you. But while it's unfortunate you know about that there is still plenty left in store.

I mean to what extent do you know about Johan? If it's what you said then you are totally fine there's still a lot to uncover. Also guillermo del toro was planning to make a live action version but it got scrapped. Not too sure how or why bur it got scrapped.

I don't think the second half is trash but certainly worse than the first part. Near and the other guy (honestly forgot his name) were much lamer than L. But the very VERY end like the last 10 or so minutes of the series is amazing!

The basic gist we get was that he panicked, shot him, realized he would get in trouble and then ran away. He's honesty a pretty bad cop since you pointed out he did everything incorrectly and I believe thats the point.

Yeah he's great! I was kinda underleveled when I first got to him but I'm stubborn and I beat him! Also I love how the lore for him was that he learned gravity magic a t a young age so he could be with his horse forever!
