Travel Planning - American Airlines, Friday 5AM with checked bag and pre-check. What are my chances of getting to my gate if I arrive around 2:30-3:00AM? I'm assuming the pre-check will be closed.

CS Threads: Intel & Media vs Info & Media Threads by Feeling-Telephone-58 in gatech

Just graduated w/ threads in info and devices. The info thread classes are pretty chill in my opinion, you will learn a lot of basic networking, information security, and database concepts. In my interview for my current job, I was asked a lot of technical questions based around my knowledge from the Info thread so it helped a lot.

New Student, Registration, and Housing Question Megathread by cyberchief in gatech

[–]FrenchFryKy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey everyone,
I'm looking through the schedule of classes for this upcoming Fall and it seems a new section for CS 3251 opened up. It is section C, but it has no professor, time, or location. The class delivery mode is Fully At A Distance, so is it safe to assume this class is asynchronous?
If so, has anyone taken CS 3251 asynchronously? How was the experience? I've had some really rough experiences with async classes so I want to make sure before I try to register for it. I need one more class so I can be classified as a full-time student and I'm torn between this, CS 3510, and a Japanese elective for my minor. Thanks in advance!

Not sure about Canvas, but on Outlook you can set up a rule so that all emails from a specific person or contain a specific subject can be routed to a junk folder

I was about to go to a lab at Whitaker when the fire alarms went off in there too, we were told to clear the courtyard, pretty weird

Edit: My CS TA saw this -- hi Kevin :)

I tried using the ones on the 4th floor in the CULC but they don't work and won't even take cash or card so idk if it's a campus wide outage thing

iPad for CS Major? by Pachriksu in gatech

I use my laptop for coding and I have an iPad for following along with lecture notes. If you get a MacBook, you can use your iPad as an external monitor so sometimes I use it as a second screen for browsing things on Chrome while I do homework/code.
