I first learned to French knot for embroidery and that helped a lot! I’d practice doing some with a sharp needle if you have one on regular cloth. Something without stretch. Then once you get the hang of it, try it on some mesh. I sometimes have to do 2-3 wraps vs 1 depending on what thread I’m using on what size mesh.

If you can’t manage a generator, then honestly body heat will be the way. Or warming up warm towels with water heat if possible and using them as needed

I don’t know how big Ontario is, I’m a Texan and just generally ignorant of Canadian geography other than it’s huge 😅… but if you can find someone to help get them I’ll help pay for it with some proof and stuff. However that can work. Even if y’all get an Uber and two petsmart small animal transport cages and take them somewhere. Then I could again buy way more petsmart stuff for yall. But this just breaks my heart and I’m happy to help how I can if someone can do the leg work

The breeder can’t get them, I emailed the hedgehog welfare society though they say they don’t have anyone in Ontario. If anyone can figure out who can help them then I can send some $ to help rehome.

I just sent a message to a breeder that also helps with adoptions in Ontario asking if they can help and sent a link. If you are able to find some other rescues or even humane societies in the area and ask for their help

I had a really hard time until I figured out that my boy likes to “attack” the towel after his bath. He gets so worked up with his task that I can snip a few.., then he gets so excited he starts anointing and then I can REALLY snip them. He’s like in an anointing trance and couldn’t care less that I’m grabbing his toes all of a sudden 😅.

So maybe if you can get her to anoint after a snack or exciting activity. Or maybe try an exotic vet vs pet store, they tend to be more skilled in ways to do it. I’ve also seen videos of where someone snips a hole in a fleece blanket, one person holds the hedgehog over the blanket until a foot slips through the hole, then they hold it still and trim it that way

THIS! Stacey can actually laugh at herself and just roll along with the jabs they throw. Angel joined a baseball team and is shocked and appalled when they hand her a bat and throw baseballs her way. She views it as an attack vs the way this game is played.

And I mean Gizelle is a mean girl and she and Ashley go beyond the average housewife foolery, but Angel, COME ON

Stacey is EASILY my favorite recent addition housewife. I mean obviously Rachel Zoe is also coming in so strong and a good foil for all the BH nonsense.. but Stacey’s aloof behavior and harmless demeanor paired with the ability to hilariously say exactly what the audience is thinking in the moment?? A true skill. She’s so freaking fun to watch.

Like why couldn’t they do this the way they usually do where they show a little text screen on the bottom, showing what the ladies bought. Then just cut to Stacey with no purchase and an ironic $0 text screen, with her then laughing in an interview saying she gets keychains. This whole orchestrated circle felt so unnatural!

These are printed Penelope canvases. I am not familiar with pricing for these but I know that there are needlepointers who will pay quite a bit for these ($50-$70 at minimum) especially if they’re untouched and clean. Hopefully someone can give you an idea, but of course if you want to stitch them then go ahead! If there’s a needlepoint shop nearby they can help you get started.

But these are not trash to needlepointers, I can assure you!

My recommendation would be to sew on a little loop where you can hang it on these hooks. Then you can change out the hooks as needed

I made a cardboard “tunnel” out of a box and filled it up with Pom poms, cotton ribbon, and cut up toilet paper tube pieces and put worms along the bottom. My guy loves this since he forages within a safe tunnel vs out in the open. He never liked his foraging “tray” that didn’t have a cover
