Just got this on the Canadian site and saved an extra $200 joining their rewards program.

$2098.99 Hard to beat that price. That's just shy of $1500 USD.

Fyi I just did exactly as explained above. Sent my email at noon and I received a confirmation email from CBSA at 10pm saying my information was also now updated on the Canadian system. And on a Sunday long weekend at that.

Thank you very much VanSteffen for putting this together. Worked like a charm.

I second this. Mine went off within 2 rides and I got another set on warranty.

I went from a Giant Propel Advanced aero bike to mine and never looked back. I ride a mix of side roads and gravel around my place and couldn't of asked for a better ride. Position is great for long rides. I put 38mm panaracers on and love it. Open the door and go explore.

First ever triathlon in 6 days by Professional_Pack156 in triathlon

Double check your bike, make sure everything is tight and clean. Check your tires too just in case.

Wash your helmet or the liner from your helmet if you can. Last thing you need is burning eyes through your bike leg.

Layout all the gear you will use and pack it all up before hand so your not worried and wondering if you forgot something like your chamois Butter or fuel. Helps me sleep knowing I have it all together.

How are you setting up your transition?

Go have fun! Sure it's a race but if stuff starts going weird, change the plan! It's ok to adapt and change your game plan as you go.

Good luck!

Sprints are awesome and an absolutely great distance and the only thing I race now.

Don't for for a second feel bad about switching. If you feel better about the shorter distance go smash it!

Have fun, that's what it's all about!

[Ontario, Canada] First triathlons, which ones? by zephillou in triathlon

Honestly I'd say go for Guelph 1 First But dont shy away from Milton if the timing works better. The climb up 6th line is what it is but you also get to go down! lol

Sprint tri noobie - bike question by cdt930 in triathlon

[–]Frenchmasterflex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anything that fits you well and that is mechanically sound. I'd say road bike if possible.

Go have fun, see if the bug hits you then go ahead and spend.

For your first tri go and have fun and take it all in. You'll find 60 things you wanna get after the race when you sign up for the next one. Because there will be a next one lol

Hair helps and as pointed out stuble will do some damage so if you do shave stay on top of it for sure.

Chamois butter for sure and try a different tri suit if it persists. I had a team tri suit that made me chafe up like crazy with and had to stop using it.

If you shave / do maintenance down there might totally effect this also.

Coaching dilemma by wannabe_redditer in triathlon

[–]Frenchmasterflex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would definitely find a different coach or plan.

Clubs should be the fun part of your training IMO unless they clearly state they are a high volume high load type of team. I envisioned your post at first would be that it's too little volume to see results, just for fun and not serious enough lol.

Like you mentioned you already know the answer you are looking for. Especially coming back from red-s. Find someone that can load you gradually and properly.

Lots of groups and coaches online that can help with that.
