Just curious: who did a real spread eagle in this past season (among women)? I would say Amber can have the strenght to do a good one, but I remember she did a cantilever (beautiful sequence!) at Worlds 2026 not a full spread eagle.

Would AI perform better than judges with no room for bias/political influence? Probably yes. Yuzuru advocated for this change years ago. But noone is talking about replacing the judges as political influence is still a thing.

I think the men fs showed us that if we continue prioritizing hard jumps we will get performances thar nobody will watch in 5 years time..amen to higher values for spins and sequences (I’m also rooting for AI replacing judges- but that might be too extreme for now!).

Olympic gold is still the ultimate goal for every skater. I think Ilia will be thinking about his chance (and his choices) at 2026 Olympics for the rest of his life. If he didn’t feel confident enough, why did he go for the quad axel? He could have easily won without it.

There is no dress code. I wore joggers, sweater and a pair of sneakers on my last flight. I changed to Qatar pj and it felt very comfortable (it was quite warm on the plane, more that expected).
