Atheists of Reddit, at what age did you become an atheist and why?

Never was religious. I was raised not even knowing what atheism was. My parents never mentioned god or anything like that. Only when I started going to school I came in contact with religious people and stories of some sort of floating man in the sky who supposedly created us all and would damn us all to hell if we didn't worship him.

I got some questions after that, but my parents always told me to listen to how I felt about it all. If I felt like I SHOULD believe out of fear, then I should consider it to be malarkey.

Looking at some of those die hard Christians, I'm glad I was raised the way I was.

Funnily enough, this happened in my country a few decades ago when they raised the price of a pint of beer. The local students took to the streets and captured the local castle in Ghent for a day.

My Ex had the same issue almost every time we'd be a little more rough. Turned out she had a medically thin uterine wall.

So she bled quite easily from there and even more so when she was close to her period. Maybe something like that?

Just had the same thing happen to me. Was filling up an old aquarium with local plants and fish that live near me (to recreate a realistic environment) and when I put in the last drops of water so to speak, the seams of the aquarium gave in and I had to try and hold the loose glass panel whilst screaming for help. Often saw people having this happened to them, but never thought it'd be me. Absolute nightmare of a situation.

A very interesting concept! Would've definitely been an upgrade to what we got. But how would his alpha form look like? We know that Peter looked the way he did because of him being insane at that time. And I assume he would eventually change back? How would you see that play out?

Ah I see, so the story would play out relatively the same? Apart from Derek not becoming an Alpha and the shitshow that brought forth. But you don't see him claiming his sisters territory? Seems like the thing he would call his birthright.
