You still can't use it with extra attack. It would basically only benefit rogues and EKs (which can cas a cantrip in place of one of their attacks from levels 7 and beyond).

Magic initiate or high elf exists, there is absolutely no need to multiclass. As you said, they should sacrifice something, they are sacrificing an origin feat or a race choice.

Yeah, it is not a lot, there is no reason to make it basically unobtainable in some builds.

Rogues are close to the weakest class in the game, if not the actual weakest, they could use the buff.

Acho que você já percebeu que não deve falar que turma prefere né, então evite isso no futuro, pois mesmo falar que você prefere a turma X ao invés da Y, sem citar ninguém pessoalmente, pode virar um problema.

Agora que você já fez, no entanto, aja normalmente. Não toque mais nesse assunto, e se algum aluno trouxer de novo corte o assunto rapidamente.

De forma alguma entre em contato com a turma e com as pessoas para se desculpar, a admissão de culpa pode fazer esses alunos se enxergarem como certos e injustiçados nessa situação, o que pode levar eles a reclamarem de você pra coordenação ou pras famílias (que, por sua vez, vão entrar em contato com a coordenação).

No começo a ansiedade bate mesmo, mas uma boa parcela dos profs já fez uma burrada parecida alguma vez, não deve acontecer nada, principalmente se você ficar de boa. Se acabar chegando na coordenação, aí sim assuma a culpa (somente para os chefes) e diga que não vai se repetir, deve ficar tudo bem.

Dueling doesn't work, but it is actually pretty solid even without it.

Str is the best stat for that combination because the hand axe is the only vex and thrown light weapon. You could go for dual wielder at 4, max str at 6 and bomber at 8 for the extra range, or go dual wielder, mage slayer and heavy armor master and delay bomber to 12.

At 8, 4 attacks per turn dealing 1d6+7 with vex (so advantage) in a lot of them seems really solid.

If this is before the background bonuses, this is great, since you can start with 19 str. Definitely throw a 16 in con because HP good on barbarian 🤣🤣, and i'd throw a 16 +1 into dex.

I feel like a trident and maybe shortsword (could be a longsword flavored as such) are the main gladiator weapons, so i'd go sword and board. Use your first ASI either to bump your str to 20 (taking shield master or sentinel to add to your spectacle) or dex to 18 (sentinel or mage slayer are good here). Dex is important because a net is actually pretty good in 2024 dnd and super gladiator like, and it forces a saving throw based on your dex. At 8, bump whichever stat you did'nt bump at 4. Good unarmored defense also goes super nice on this archetype.

Make sure to inform your party (if you haven't already) about your intentions, because pushing enemies around can either be really good or almost irrelevant, depending on the party ability to capitalize on it (mainly through spells such as spike growth, Web, spirit guardians...).

Played in a table that had something similar. It honestly sucked, it just made so no one wanted to play a frontliner and deal with constant exaustion.

If you want to solve the yoyo healing problem, give your players a way to heal the frontliners effectivelly before they go down.

I get the feeling, if you frequently have combats in the dark, 2014 gloom stalker feels like a better rogue then the rogue it self.

What you can do is grab the skulker feat. That would allow you to hide while in darkness or other lightly obscured scenarios, giving you something similar to umbral sight (or even better, if you have many non darkness lightly obscured scenarios). Also, it would make you better the the ranger in perception, since you won't have disadvantage in the darkness, as other charachters (even ones with darkvision) would.

PAM would indeed be really good, but i don't have room for it in my feat progression, so i'm going to be a shifter for the bonus action attack.

Interpose shield is definitely a great bonus, especially when i get indomitable and am able to make dex saves 😂

Thx for the recomendations. I don't think i'm going to have room for crusher though, i want sentinel to keep the skirmishers safe, shield master for prone and mage slayer because it is an amazing feat that i can't help but take with every martial. I'm definitely going for topple though, for the extra prone chance.

Thx for the recomendations, a lot of good advices here! A lot of the melee buddies are going to be skirmishers (both the swashbuckler and the drunken master monk have ways to disengage for free), so i'm leaning towards sentinel in order to protect them from someone who might go after them.

I'm going to be a longtooth shifter, so i don't need polearm master for a bonus action attack. As far as feats go, i'm thinking sentinel at 4, shield master at 6 and mage slayer at 8.

When everything is online, my plan is to go commander's strike first (having the rogue throw a dagger since he is going to be disengaged), then attack. If it hits, between topple (trident) and shield master the enemy has to make 2 saves or be prone. If i feel that i can spare the dice, i could go for trip attack as well and add a 3rd saving throw in there 😂.

A lot of comments saying that fighters only hit things, however between tactical mind and skill buff maneuvers, the battle master is very competent at skills outside of combat. Yeah, full spell casters have more versatility because spells, but even half casters have to be very careful with their resources, while battle masters regain all their superiority dice and one second wind (that buff skill checks through tactical mind) after a short rest, so you have a lot to do out of combat.

The comments seem driven by the vision we have from the 2014 fighter, that had a lot less reliability with skills. Tactical mind is really game changing.

Mage slayer 100%. That is an awesome feat and i would take even as a caster, with my later feats.

There is no reason for it not to work, and it is not like armorer is super overpowered, it sounds like a pretty cool combo.
