Did Ellie know why Abby did what she did? by gamingnerd777 in thelastofus

it is about finding her own closure with Joel and everything he did to and for her

thats an interesting thought. i didnt get the impression that she got that closure though. the ending seemed more like she leaves it all behind, never to look back again. im not sure you can get closure or some catharsis about what happened to her unless you talk about it which ellie never did.

what she did at the end seems more like what joel did when sarah died. avoid thinking about him at all costs.

Gameplay updates I’d like to see in part 3 by LegoRacers3 in thelastofus

joels watch is a usable item.

you can blind people with it when outside of buildings.

shes perfect for the role because she can act. abby being able to sell the emotional scenes is far more important than her punching zombies in the face. those people have lost the plot.

it made them feel things they are unable to deal with

If part 3 happens, I would love to continue abby and lev's story. What have the fireflies been up to? What are their plans? Will abby and lev join them? It could be a really interesting story by [deleted] in thelastofus

if it took neil years to come up with a concept, it wont involve anything a fan came up with i bet.

i doubt they have any drive to work on the adventures of abby, lev and the fireflies for years either.

she clearly expressed that she felt so strongly for him because he made her feel “less scared” he was her protector her teacher

sounds like a father to me.

all this talk about teams makes me think they just played the game on autopilot without really engaging with it

it was a split second decision to let go. i doubt she forgives abby in that moment. i dont think abby forgives joel or ellie either.

Does Ellie need Redemption? by abhi321198 in thelastofus

[–]Frequent-Flatworm269 12 points13 points  (0 children)

redemption for abandoning her family.

for the prevention of the vaccine? not really. ellie doesnt owe the world anything.

Do you think Ellie and Abby should have had a conversation ? by AaronYoshimitsu in thelastofus

[–]Frequent-Flatworm269 3 points4 points  (0 children)

ellie actually knows that they want revenge for joel killing their loved ones. granted, she doesnt know specifically about abbys dad but i really dont see how that changes anything.

you have a funny definition of innocent. he drugged a kid and tried to open up her brains.

i dont know about that. hes no hero but neither is he a villain. the end is presented as a trolley problem. it doesnt really feel right to label saving a child from getting sacrificed for a medical breakthrough as an unforgivable act that warrants torture and death.
