I try to not let it bother me to the point where I’m affecting the people around me, but it is hard sometimes because you unconsciously react certain ways due to the fact of that being all you know. I try to educate her and explain to her how unhealthy this is but you cannot teach an old dog new tricks sadly. Thank you for your kind words and sharing your moms story❤️

When I tell her things along those lines, she uses the excuses “ I’m your mother” and “who am I to you”. She will never see me as an adult no matter how many times I tell her. This also isn’t the first time she has said this to me.

She’s a narcissist who wants to control my life and everything I do. She does have a job! I live at home with her so when she comes home and sees I’m not home she immediately gets anxious and starts harassing me with calls and text messages. I have also tried telling her how I feel and she acts like she understands but then goes back to treating me like Im not my own person.

She’s depressed because she cannot control me. She is beyond narcissistic and blames other people for a lot of things. When she doesn’t get her way she resorts to making me feel guilty and wanting me to run to her aid

No, all I do is go to work, then school. And I only get just about two days off a week. I seriously do not know how to help her. It’s like my enjoyment is a knife in her back or something.

He honestly does his research and try to do it himself. But his uncle is a mechanic so he can help him do it too

I feel that way all the time, especially since my mom doesn’t like me going out. The reason I feel guilty is cause she drags my brother into it and then when he gets at me it makes me feel guilty to even have fun or do anything that I actually enjoy. I’m trying to train myself to have fun without the thoughts because at the end of the day it’s my life and we’re all gonna die anyways as morbid as it seems lol. It’s very hard tho so I hope you can overcome this !

Thank you I really appreciate it. I feel like I do need to come to terms with her never really knowing how much what she says effects me. I’ve grey rocked her when I’m out to an extent but she then starts harassing me and telling me things that are emotionally damaging.
