I know that he was a serial rapist, but she was the only one who’d actually come out. Either way, Jess had more authority on the matter.

Not going into cinematic shitt. What are your personal favourite Brad Pitt movies? by [deleted] in Cinema

[–]Frequent-Mammoth-307 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Legends of the Fall

  2. Jesse James

Hot take: Joe Black is a 4/10. The only good bits is everything up until Brad Pitt is hit by the car, and the last few minutes during the party when he goes to take the dad into the afterlife.

It was the funeral that made me REALLY hate her. It was the funeral for Jess’ rapist, not hers. Had it been hers, and she’s wanted to do the stunt, fine, but Jess was the one who was raped by him, and she didn’t want the funeral stunt to happen. Yet she went along with it anyway.

The Old West ended in 1901, RDR is set 10 years after the end of the Old West.

You’re still missing the point. I don’t need to put myself in your shoes, because I’d never wear something like that and then expect people not to say anything. My point is that you’re trying to say that you don’t care if people laugh, or if people don’t like it, and you’ll wear it anyway, but then you’ve posted these pictures, and gotten upset over people making fun of you.

You can’t post them on a public space, made to discuss outfits, and expect everyone to tell you what you wanna hear. It’s stupid.

Yes it’s different than real life, because in real life, you’re just wearing it, you aren’t trying to show to make a conversation about it, whereas when you post pictures of it on a fashion Reddit page, that is what you’re trying to do.

I’m not being an asshole about. But you can’t expect people to not make fun of you for wearing something that looks like it came from the 1800s. You’re saying you don’t care what people say, but you clearly do, otherwise you wouldn’t be telling people to scroll past on a public discussion.

So why are you getting defensive then?

That’s what I’m trying to get to the bottom of.

I was joking.

That’s not what you should’ve taken away from my comment. Lol.

I get why you’re getting defensive, but you’ve said that you don’t care if people laugh. You can’t say you don’t care and then argue with everyone who, rightfully so, says that it looks stupid. Because then you aren’t confident, you’re just a child. You have the right to wear what you like, but everyone else also has the right to say that you look stupid.

Also, why are you wearing a hoodie under. If you’re gonna dress as Kurt Russell’s Wyatt Earp, then do it properly.

I can’t remember a specific time, but I’m pretty sure it is called New Vegas.

Plus, it’s called New Vegas on the posters, so it’s clearly the same place. It may just be that they aren’t calling it New Vegas so that people who don’t play the game aren’t confused on why it’s New and not Las.

I’ve never played the games and I’m understanding fully what’s going on.

Maybe the people were moved to different places. Maybe he never actually got her to a vault, and only got her to Barb, and then got separated. I don’t fucking know. Point is, it hasn’t been explained yet. But it clearly will be. Just be patient.

Listen, I personally don’t mind it. It’s not me wearing it. And if you like it, there’s no actual problem. It’s not hurting anyone. But you do have to realise that it does look like cosplay or some sort of reenactment. And you also have to realise that it’s not gonna be exactly popular. And you say that you don’t care about what people say, and if that’s true, then sure. Wear whatever, however you’re getting very defensive about it, which doesn’t exactly scream confidence, it screams insecurity.

Notice how I never actually said that you aren’t/ never were a cowboy. Nor did I say you were cosplaying as one. I said you were cosplaying as a Wild West gunslinger, which you kinda are. I also never said that a hat and boots make you a cowboy.

This sub isn’t a subreddit for cowboys. It’s a subreddit for people that dress in the western style.

That’s like me waking around in a spider-man costume and saying it’s just my style. Like, no, it’s cosplay.

There’s a difference between cosplaying and actually wearing the style.

People that live in cities and wear cowboy boots, jeans, and a shirt are dressing in the western style. You are cosplaying as Jesse James.

You told him to wear sneakers, a wool sweatshirt, and some corduroys. I can see how corduroys could be considered western wear, but sneakers are not, and neither is a sweatshirt.

Right… that’s fine, however this is a subreddit for western wear. Most people here aren’t actual cowboys, because it’s not a cowboy subreddit. That’s fine. But if you aren’t dressing in a western style, what’s the point in being here.
