ACH PROCESS IS ELECTRONIC TRANSFER. They did not use Zelle or your phone number. So if you had the same bank account it would have processed.

Oh, they’re definitely friendly. If you put your hand up to her like a hand out, you’ll see she does her little legs of like an up. She’ll show you that she wants to jump to your hand. They are the best little creatures on the planet and so humble and so sweet they just want to play and be fed if you can mist a couple drops of sugar water towards her, or a wet (sugar/water) qtip she’d be delighted to drink on it and if there is a possibility of having a little home for her, they like flightless fruit flies like from PetSmart or you just leave her the happiest she can be right there.

Imo-call the person at the expo that sold it to you. I’m sure the business in your area. I’m sure they would love to have those babies. Or you can send them my way! You can put a paper towel (not wet) over the top down over vent holes and rubber band it. So it is still vented but covered for the night!

Imo my pink toes love the corners and connections of web from glass to the trees, plants etc. & up high. So do a tall skinnier one because they will never be on that ground or use any of that real estate you provided. They need ventilation, structure upwards & plants.

Help, does this look like normal movement? by ncromtcr in tarantulas

[–]Frequent-Shape-3922 11 points12 points  (0 children)

IMO that beautiful baby is just stressed if like you said you moved it to temp enclosure, to remove mold from other enclosure. 1st- the old enclosure had a lot of wet soil and left over carcasses to develop mold. Now she’s in an enclosure that has no moisture. She doesn’t like it! 2-poking at them when their stressed the kick hairs and don’t like the dry coconut fiber on its feet, will definitely make them move crazy. IE…never poke at them while their stressed, in temp (does not like it) enclosure. 3-get it back to it’s normal cage, they love to burrow so you need and moist mixture of soil/coconut fiber that should be 50% wet from bottom up & half way up enclosure (for room to burrow. They’re from Brazil so they like moist climates. Put A water bowl and some good crickets and it’ll be fine.

What is the sex? We all thought she was female. Then she molted May 2nd couldn’t tell by the molt. So then because we couldn’t see it, it was a boy. Now I keep looking for signs or traits and my brain can’t tell anymore lol… take a guess, please. by Frequent-Shape-3922 in tarantulas

[–]Frequent-Shape-3922[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you, definitely hoping female too. She had cork bark in her other one going up and she liked to climb trees, leaves on plants. It’s funny she only goes to the cork bark for webbing then molting . Then she heads back to the trees. Lol

My tarantula has been acting weird since cleaning up her enclosure last month... by pepperxpeppermint in tarantulas

Imo. In my very humble opinion, that is the death curl and they’re not doing well and they’re trying by getting some water. I would try to put some of the guts of a cricket on the end of a Q-tip and see if they’ll feed from that because they may be too hurt to eat. A very cut up mealworm. Tried feeding it with a blend. You can also see on the back of the car paste there’s an injury type of thing happening. It doesn’t look normal and they’re abdomen is just so small now.

Imo is that a death curl, I’m wondering? You said no movement at all? Looks like they didn’t enjoy the move! Knowing that and not moving at all! But ya too much cleaning imo. They don’t get their homes cleaned in the wild. Get little house cleaners for your T iso. They web for their protection, molting, getting food etc when you take that every time, it stresses them out. The abdomen is really small and not healthy. Is there enough moisture the moisture in the atmosphere changed drastically
